I was wondering if anyone else plays or has played this game? I know how to make things and where to find most of the stuff but what are some advanced things you guys (whoever has, if anyone, played it) have made before?

I've played Minecraft for a while but embarassingly I don't know how to make a lot of the complex redstone things that I see some people do (dedicated Minecart systems, amusement parks, mob traps, etc...they seem really difficult to make but in the end really rewarding). The closest thing I ever made to complex is a minecart system across an ocean surface to various islands and an underwater home which was, in my opinion, pretty hard to build because of the tenacious nature of water in the game.

Huh, I didnt know you could get amusement parks made... What all have you seen that's been made? I'm curious mainly bout how complex this game can get. I've only been playing for two days and have like 80 redstone so I wanna see what I can make with it and such. I wanna make a nice house at least but all the ones I make are soooooo simple... The best I made was a tree house lol

A treehouse you can extend past cloud cover, pretty cool. If you have bone meal (which is crafted from bones, obviously), then you can instantly make trees wherever the hell you want as long as you have a sapling set out on a dirt block. I'm in the process of making a small stratospheric treetop town, and because of bone meal the process has been really really quick. :)

As to how to get up to the top of such a town I'm planning on making something like a water elevator which abuses boat properties (absolute buoyancy, shoots you up downward flowing water like a rocket). But for now, simple ladders and 1x1 drop chutes with a 2 block height water hole at the bottom to stop fall damage.

Wow :o neat!
Is there an easier way to get bones? Ever bone I get I hoard till I find a wolf so I can tame it lol. Also, I HEARD you can breed wolves. Is that true?

Nah unfortunately your best bet is to wait nights out and roam hoping you don't run into many creepers. And you can't breed wolves either--they actually don't help out all that much unless you have a horde of them but at that point it's way too cumbersome to do your regular activities with so many wolves around. I mostly keep them around for decorative value haha.

Minecraft is awesome :D. I don't know how exactly to make all the fancy schmancy redstone stuff :p. I just like making buildings and towns and whatnot
