anyways, i have looked into some of these on other sites. they sure are tempting since 1 in 15 or so can land you a UC or nice items.
i have been wary about purchasing them, but thanks to this board i have made up my mind not to.

If the account hasn't been used for a while don't you have to enter in the birthday? How would you know the birthday if you were just trying some random emails??
I think, there was a period when TNT changed some policies and when you login you will be directed to read the new policies instead of having to enter your birthday.
That's how I got back my old accounts, anyway. xD

There are birthday crackers as well.... TNT did at one stage change the login to not require a birthday, but they did change it back. The birthday is only requested if you use the right password though.I think, there was a period when TNT changed some policies and when you login you will be directed to read the new policies instead of having to enter your birthday.

So wait, can I trade my original 8 year old acc and you'd be a-okay with it? I've got one from when I was a young little person that I don't use, and I'd be happy to see a fellow neocodex'er use it for all their abing needs.

I would never buy an account, regardless their creation period.
You will eventually.
Once you really get into ABing you'll want to keep your main secure.

Why not though?I would never buy an account, regardless their creation period.

Basically because the chances of being stolen or getting caught are fairly high, I guess. Why not though?

Not true...Basically because the chances of being stolen or getting caught are fairly high, I guess.
You're not allowed to sell stolen accounts here.
If you have another account besides your main then you can use a proxy to keep them separate.

I was mentioning while you're buying one. I mean, nothing guarantees the person will give you the account right after you pay for it.Not true...

But I'm not a pro, so I'm far from being absolutely sure.

Just be mindful of who you trade with.
Use a middleman if you're paranoid.

This is why you should check the users feedback before you trade.I was mentioning while you're buying one. I mean, nothing guarantees the person will give you the account right after you pay for it.
But I'm not a pro, so I'm far from being absolutely sure.
That's what it's there for
Also this.Use a middleman if you're paranoid.

I left Neo in 2010 and recently came back so I had no idea this was happening! Thanks, Boggart

Well I tested this on an email account i've known has been deleted for sometime and recreated it seeing as it was linked to a neopets account. However I almost wonder if they've already patched this issue by having some sort of filter and they just don't send you the recovery info 0:

wow, well now i know why so many sites are selling 1 year + accounts for so little. I figured it was too good to be true, glad i never bought any. Something else ive noticed is that some sites have been marketing that they can name accounts for you...this cant be true though right? I mean how are they supposed to give an account with a name i choose thats already in existence (like 1 year plus)
I suppose im more interested in buying items or neopoints directly...but im not too sure about the relative safety of that either. My new account cant rs anything yet but i want to be active so i was thinking of either buying a shell or looking into a way of buying an item or something.
