have u ever considered toilet training a cat, it involves moving the litter box closer and closer to the toilet until you finally attach it inside the toilet bowl. You would eventually slowly fill that up with water and eventually remove the box.

have you lost your mind child?

well you know what they say, cats think they own the human, or something like that.

    They say:

Feed the Dog, it thinks you're God.
Feed the Cat, it thinks ITS God.

    Hahaha

Its true, it can be done. Though someone needs to be around to flush it for the cats. Haha

    Good luck with that...
It's not easy to train a cat to do anything.

I have the least coordinated cat in the world, it seems. As a kitten, he fell into the toilet on a few occasions trying to take a sip of the water. Now he pretty much only drinks from the faucet.

Not the smartest, but probably the most loveable kitty I've ever met.

yea i guess not every cat can be trained to use the toilet, and it would cause problems if the cat fell inside... but still its a great alternative to having to clean the litterbox

There is actually a device that you can buy at pet shops that you can fit over the toilet bowl. You can adjust the size as the training progresses so that your cat will eventually be used to the size of the actually toilet seat (lid down preferable).

Be careful though, if your cat is like mine, he loves water and will find any excuse to jump into the bowl and splash around. :S

a cat that likes water o.O? The only cat that ive heard about that likes water is the fishing cat. which seems to be more like a small wild cat to be honest.

Also ive never actually heard of or even seen this device before, can you post an image of one or provide a link? i have a friend who is really into cats and might like to see it lol.

I swear that I've also seen a video where a cat flush the toilet before. I'm not sure where I saw it, but I believe it exists. :p So just train your cat to do that too, and you're good.

a cat that can use the toilet for both number 1 and 2 as well as flush it after its done would be the most amazing animal ever.. It would be like a pet that you only have to feed but don't have to clean up afterwards

    I love this video.

    Also,
    http://www.litterkwi...om/en/index.php

And since some people can't get litter in their toilet due to no sewer system, they can't use the first one anyways. did you see the mess in the video? Juheeze.
but Frostz method works just as well and is the one I've always been told. No need for a bunch of different fancy inserts.

Nice thats one of them hairless cat
And yea that seems pretty messy, but it works in the same manner as the way i mentioned except it seems that instead of placing an entire cat litter bowl inside the toilet and slowly removing the litter/filling it with water to get the cat used to having water in the litterbox, its got a doughnut shaped plate with some litter that is slowly retracted over time leaving an opening into the toilet.

There was a video on youtube, of a cat peeing into the toilet bowl then flushing it herself. I think thats where you saw it ShadowLink.
My cat is the normal variety. Silver tabby, was a stray i found on the way hom from gym. Everytime i shower, he will rush into the shower area with me and refuse to leave. I have to shower with him almost every day. :S
If i had a bath tub and filled it, he'd probably jump in and stay there until he froze to death. Hahaha.

This is the one i'm talking about. Its called Litter Kwitter (lame). Sorry for the size of the pic.

    Here it is

How the hell do you insert images?! The button isn't working!

I found the video of the cat flushing the toilet, it uses then flushes.

You use the insert image button by clicking it, pasting the link into the tab and then pressing insert image.

Yeah, thanks for that by the way. I realized that i was having a problem with my browser and my flash player that was preventing me from doing certain stuff like clicking on the add image button. Suffice to say, it screwed up my ABing as well.
