So i was actually just wondering, who else here plays the DOTA like game created by the Riot Games team, League of Legends? I find it wonderfully addictive but i really wish they would create a new map. Kind of getting sick of Twisted Treeline as an alternative map. So, just putting it up for discussion:

What champs do you prefer to specialize in?

What is your preferred build for said champs?

What was your best and worst LoL moment?

I only played this game a couple of times, and i used Corki.
i tend to gravitate towards ranged type classes when i do play these types of games.
Unfortunately i dont have a prefered build or lol moment, cause i never really personally enjoyed the defense of the ancients type of gameplay so i never really got into it

I hated DOTA as well in wc3, the player base was too elitist, but i think that made me biased towards all other DOTA type games which is why im always so reluctant to even play it in any form..

I'm so sick of playing teams that go all AP or all AD or lack a tank, or are all tank.

Pisses me off to no end.

Actually, Junsu is right, the best players are the ones that have the versatility to adjust to the team comp. That being said, its usually the last summoner to click lock in. Hahaha.

Actually iargue, there was a game i played that involved 4 tanks and 1 burst AP caster. We got pwned just because we could get around the meat shield to that annoying little creature blasting us at the back. Tanks like Garen, Shen and Rammus can actually carry the game while still building tanky items. Frustrating like hell. A good tank is hard to come by.

I got to level 30 about a month ago, only play every so often.

For AP I'm Lux or Anivia
for AD I'm gangplank or Ez
For Tank I'm Nunu or Galio

I usually choose last since I just pick whatever's needed; although I am honestly most comfortable with lux and ez.

Isn't Ezreal more of a hybrid now that his Q and Barrage scale off both AP and AD? They have guinsoo and hextech as the recommended items i think. Your AP champs are annoying. I hate that Demacian cow. Stupid ult is like 15 second cooldown, firing it off like a mad woman everywhere.

A 4 tank team won't beat any decent comp 2 ad, 1 support, 1 tank, 1 ap team. Garen, Shen, and Rammus cannot kill late game against anyone who is either burst, or has life steal. Its really easy to counter AP. Buy a banshee's veil, and you are fine. .

All you really have to do is split. With 4 tanks and 1 AP. Four people can hold them at a tower playing a dancing game, while one person goes and pushes a lane.

I like the game and I play it religiously, like I worship it and I stream It. And If your wonder I provide video lessons for skills and I also am good for $50 an hour. If you want to vs me pre-made, you must guess my name. The clue is (gg)

Whoops didn't read first post, I specialise in all heroes regardless as I have a rune page for every situation and hero. Although I play all heroes I do like tanky dps such as Garen and Warwick but I also like tanks in general as opposed to squishy AD and AP. My best moment was getting first and second place ELO

Pssh, he scales off AD more than AP for his skill shot, which is basically the only one I use for damage (as well as auto attacks). W is pretty much useles except to get more attack speed by using on clustered champions; the animation time to cast it you could attack a champion two or three times. E is just for escape and kiting. I'd consider him AD

For a while it was VERY annoying playing vs 4. tanky DPS + soraka. I wanted to kill myself.

Yes iargue, i'm level 30. Been level 30 for a looong time already. Unfortunately, match making is not perfect and i had a shitty shitty team. I mean griefers and trolls and feeders abound. It is extremely annoying initially and if there's no teamwork, there's victory. Teamwork wins games in high ELO as well as team comp.

Well, its not really an RPG, more like a minor MMORPG. Sort of. If you've ever played DOTA on W3, then you know what its like. Its very similar

I used to play it about a year or 2 back. It was fun! Seriously. Enjoyed it a hell lot more than DOTA, and I'm planning to start again once my exams are finished.

But SE-Asia people are banned I think from the main server, since we have one our own.

I'm not going to play on our server though, the community is just plan bad. Everyone scolds each other noobs and bitches, and no one really bothers to help.

The community in the EU server is much better. (That is where the main is, right? I'm not too sure.)

Hoping to play with you guys soon, if I may have the pleasure! Will find a way to unblock the server so I can play with you guys.

I loved to play Amumu by the way. That guy is just so adorable. I usually play AP or Tank, depending on my team.

AP amumu can be scary. I have a friend who enjoys bulking up a perma-despair amumu and walking around taking chunks out of everyone's life totals. Of course, not recommended for High ELO games. I play on the asian server Garena, but that is only available in Singapore and Malaysia. If you want to play on the US/EU servers, you will need to use a proxy. I think Riot originates from US side... They have offices in both countries though i'm sure.

Yeah. I'll use hotspotshield to bypass the block. Not sure if it still works now, but I'll try it after the exams.

I never enjoyed playing on Garena. They community there is just plain shit.

I honestly can't stand that game. I own that too and hated it even though I Loved DotA. And that's why I was sorta against LoL at first since I heard it was also like DotA.
