Hey guys, I am just saying, I have recently been interested in virtualizing software and software that enable you to carry you whole system on a single usb stick and I have to say, I have found one that just does the job.

By virtualizing software I mean software than acts as a virtual Windows system on your portable by drive, for example Virtual PC works, however it is slow and requires 1GB of space, moreover it is not really portable from computer to computer, as you need to install it before using it. So is there a portable, fast solution? The answer is yes. Prayaya V3 is a software that is 100% portable as long as you are using Windows 2000 and above. Prayaya V3 is also stores your personal data such as documents, music and videos, moreover, you can install software and the software will only be installed on your USB system. Prayaya V3 makes sure that it doesn’t affect you normal system 100%, thus leaving no fingerprints.

What was my experience with V3, well, I downloaded it from www.prayaya.com. The setup file was not that big, well not as big as Windows XP virtual system which was 400MB, it was only 6MB, so I downloaded the file and ran the installer. Since Prayaya was created partially from Chinese developers, there was three main languages with Chinese and English being the most important. As soon as I launched the setup, a dialog box saying ‘extracting’ came up, a second later, the setup screen popped up, pretty fast! I just clicked agree with the terms and conditions and the USB drives you can to install to are displayed. I choose to install to my 8GB flash drive. Everything else is simple, just wait for it to complete, then run the StartV3.EXE from your USB, login and your virtual system is ready. Here is what I did:

I installed Firefox 4

I installed VLC

I installed OpenOffice

Guess what? They all ran just fine, just like a normal system would, however, I did worry about its portability, so I moved It on my old laptop with Windows XP Sp2 and tested my software, it ran smoothly! The only limitation for me is the trial, however for a reasonable $29.99 bucks, I suggest it is worth what it provides, and since I am Chinese, I am in China right now and my system from a Australian computer was 100% compatible, my apps worked fine, my documents were intact, everything was going well. For you computer savvy users who go from system to system, Prayaya V3 is a definite buy!

Prayaya V3 comes in several licenses, as it is a very popular system portability software and you can select the one that suits you in its official website. Purchasing of Prayaya V3 can be done via major credit card or even the PayPal. Another good thing about the company is it provides free support and also contains a forum for customers to post and discuss their experiences and problems! Even better, by reviewing Prayaya, you can obtain a free license worth $29.99! Go and check it out!
