So i've been reading up on how to get a Draik, and i must admit i've always admired them as a pet. Here is what i've found out to be true so far:

-Restocked at Merrifoods (which has a higher chance of freezing and RS bans) once or twice a day

-Restocked at AAA

-Morphing potions are at Magic Shop (also high chance of freezing a RS bans)

-Rarity drops on their pet day thus a higher probability of restocks will be done at Merrifoods

-Unconfirmed reports of being zapped through the Secret Laboratory Ray

-Can be found in the Plushie Palace

-Can be found as a treasure on the original Piece of a Treasure Map


So, i'd like to know, has anyone actually managed to get these coveted pets, especially through their ABing? Am i on a fools errand for attempting to accquire such a lofty prize? I cant be bothered with trying to sell these eggs. I find myself wanting a Draik more and more each day, and i actually spent a whole day on and off at Merrifoods to see if i could even see one, but no luck.

Anyone care to share their success stories here?

You are probably better off autobuying, and making enough neopoints to just buy a draik egg or something like that through trades. That way things wouldn't be completely up to chance and you would actually have a set goal.

Couple of things:

- I don't think they restock at merifoods as frequently as twice a day - I could be wrong though.
- Nobody has ever zapped a Draik from the labray, apparently there is a chance it can happen (JN), but I've never seen it in my 10 years of playing.

You could always buy an egg/MP for real money on here if you have the funds.

If not I would advise you to AB and making money, rather than trying to AB an egg directly.

I was actually considering that as my second option. If it proved unfruitful to go searching directly for the egg, i will AB and save up enough to get the egg from another player and contribute to their coffers.

@Sammiantha : Well it is random, it would be more appropriate to say that it restocks maybe 5-9 times over a period of a week on account that the eggs have different item rarities and follow those prescribed restocking rules for their set rarities.

Also, it was never publicly denied by TNT that the lab ray would give you a krawk/draik/lutari so we can assume that there is some small chance of it happening until they have stated otherwise.

So far, it looks as if i'll be making the money to buy it off of someone.

draik eggs restock at least 4-5 times per day. there has been a few cases of fellow abers getting 2 draik eggs in a day. =) its not a uphill task. ab for 1 week and change shells once they get RS banned.

You could restock enough normally to buy a draik, using the Super/System method. I have, it took me about 3 months and I don't even AB a whole lot. Or just buy one from here with "other" if you have the funds, they aren't very much.

The easyst way to get one is just buying one the chance abing one is very slim

Best (safe) way really is the long, painful old fashioned way, which is investing for one. Whatever profit you get from AB = buy the egg.

Play Habitarium on three browsers or a set of computers on your home network. That's at least 100k a day 10 days = 1 mil. 170 days = 17 mil. That's pretty much how long it'll take me to save up. Almost 5 months.. Hopefully less once holidays start, and since I'll be done with university altogether, it should take about 1/2 that time. No ab-ing here.

AB is still the best way
I ABed for 1 year before getting a draik and a krawk, training both to ~300 HSD

well zapping a draik / krawk is possible, but I have never heard of this... from a neopets guide (forgotten the link) I have read, it says lab doesnt give out krawk or draik, though I have once zapped a lutrai

There have been a few cases of draik/krawk zaps in the past - it was just very rare, but they've said in the editorial that it's no longer possible.

You can't just say it restocks 1-2 times a day. Sometimes it restocks 8 in a day, sometimes you won't see one for a week. So you can't generalize like that; it's very hit and miss.

I believe someone has zapped a krawk from the lab ray once, but never a draik. Good luck.

plushie palace is much easier than AB in merifoods and magic ,even buying time about 3000ms can still get a shoot
which is safe

I am also trying to AB there and still waiting for Magical D/K Plushie restock

The amounts i've given come from other sources, so i'm quoting a common statement which is 1-2 a day, i assume thats an average over a week or a month. Who knows.

I highly doubt that its 4-5 a day though.

Right now, i'm hoping my Lab Ray will get me a lutari.
Draik Egg/Potion/Plushie i will just buy.
Hope to AB the plushie for the krawk.

AAA is another resource i'm looking into, will give it a try once i've amassed my fortune. . I'm making around 200-500k a day, so it should happen soon...ish...

Anyway, does any one here HAVE a draik/lutari/krawk?

I've seen multiple draik eggs in AAA, but because of all the ABers in it it goes so fast, I manually restock there and have always been too late for the eggs.


Also;
I've zapped a Lutari.
I've owned a Draik but I ended up adopting it out. (damn it)

I would say the easiest way would be to try and restock one. This can be the riskiest though, since it is more illegit than other possible way.




The chances of getting it through treasure maps is quite small. I have redeemed at least 25-30 through my time on neo and have never gotten one. Ever. But it can happen.

I would recommend the attic. I get a couple a week. I got a red krawk potion just last night as a matter of fact. They are expensive whichever way you choose though.

I'm trying to buy one.... although attic sounds good- what're the ice rates for attic? I'm restocking low risk, clothing, plushies and all that. Saving up to 15 mil and getting a drake... although I'm at 2 mil so far...

you could also try to trade a BN draik on the PC for a low-end UC or VWN plushie

@ Jungle : You give me hope for zapping my Gelert into a Lutari, especially since i missed Lutari day. (He was zapped into a Gelert). How on earth could you accidentally give away your draik? Someone out there must be pretty damn happy!

@ IRoyalty : Yup, i was actually thinking of using the AAA to get the eggs/potion/plushie. Since you've had experience getting those things there, let me ask, would you recommend i use the AB minimum item cost to browse for items or should i make up my own manual list to target specific items?

I think the best way is to semi-legit RS a potion at magic, they restock fairly often and semi-legit takes very little skill to get good enough to get potions there.

It's a bit hard to trade for any draik no matter how bad the name with even a FFQ let alone an already traded plushie. The plushie would have to have stats or an amazing name or something else special about it.

I do have a WNed one for sale if you want to go that way instead of ABing.
