Anyway, does any one here HAVE a draik/lutari/krawk?

So i've been reading up on how to get a Draik, and i must admit i've always admired them as a pet. Here is what i've found out to be true so far:

-Restocked at Merrifoods (which has a higher chance of freezing and RS bans) once or twice a day

-Restocked at AAA

-Morphing potions are at Magic Shop (also high chance of freezing a RS bans)

-Rarity drops on their pet day thus a higher probability of restocks will be done at Merrifoods

-Unconfirmed reports of being zapped through the Secret Laboratory Ray

-Can be found in the Plushie Palace

-Can be found as a treasure on the original Piece of a Treasure Map


So, i'd like to know, has anyone actually managed to get these coveted pets, especially through their ABing? Am i on a fools errand for attempting to accquire such a lofty prize? I cant be bothered with trying to sell these eggs. I find myself wanting a Draik more and more each day, and i actually spent a whole day on and off at Merrifoods to see if i could even see one, but no luck.

Anyone care to share their success stories here?

You could buy a cheap BN UC and trade up. Could take a while but its worth it if you know what you're doing

I have a couple of draiks, a few lutari's and a couple of krawks. All but one of them (and besides the luts) bought with AB profits. Ive never AB'ed and egg/plushie/potion. One i saved up for legit and it took me ages. Then i discovered codex and the AB'er. Now it takes me less than 5 days to get enough NP to buy one I'd stick to AB'ing and saving your profits.

+ I've seen various ones go for 9-12m
Just buy one, its cheaper that way.

Alright, i'm kinda getting confused by all the abbreviations use. I'm naught but a humble 10 year player of neopets.

What on EARTH is:

BN Draik?
UC or VWN Plushie?
FFQ?

@ IRoyalty : Yup, i was actually thinking of using the AAA to get the eggs/potion/plushie. Since you've had experience getting those things there, let me ask, would you recommend i use the AB minimum item cost to browse for items or should i make up my own manual list to target specific items?

Well I have a very targeted list that I use.
I used to have a very long list and I could get like...20-30 items per day while using 6+ accounts at a time.
But I found that to be too illegit and the profits I gained from that could be made from just one good buy of a draik/krawk potion.
So now I target very high value items and transfer them very carefully. It is harder to get them because most other people are gunning for them too...but it helps to have a very fast connection ^_~

I dont think the AAA auto list would be specific enough for my tastes so i created my own list and am gonna run it tonight and see if i can strike just ONE draik item. (Please please please). My connection speed is 11ms, so would you consider that fast? Whats your ping?

They dont stock very often and they are extremely in demand.
People still buy them when the prices go up so sellers just keep inflating...

Well, maybe they were on hiatus for some time, i mean, i didn't know about the draik egg thingys until i started again around 2 months back. Damn how i wish i found out about Abrosia then. Anyway, yeah, its so friggin difficult to get 1. Tried the AAA and didn't even see a miss. Sigh. Looks like its saving up and buy one.

Using egg gets you an avatar. Using egg/potion let's you name the pet.

Egg lets you name the pet. Potion just changes one of your current pets, doesn't necessarily mean you name it.

Also it doesn't matter if you use the egg or not, you just have to own a Draik to get the avatar.

I think the eggs are usually a little more expensive of about 500k - 1 mil more, but they're around equal right now at 15 mil

I've been ABing in Merifoods for the past few months now and if I had to say there is an average... I'd say 2 eggs are released per day. I've gone a week before without seeing one at all and there was another day in which I actually grabbed two! I think I may have ABed ~10 in the past 3-6 months... (And I use RIDICULOUS settings on ABrosia. Like should have been iced before I even bought anything settings...) So I suggest that it would be easier/quicker to make more np through ABing other shops and then just buying one out right.

I gathered as much. I spent 3-4 days trying to AB at merrifoods (with similarly ridiculous settings, like 0.1-0.2) just to see if i have the off chance of getting an egg and frozen account be damned! Didn't even get a miss. So i'd rather use that time to do my normal ABing so that i can keep my profit earning stable again (its really dipped during those days). So i'm saving up. 7 million so far.

as i said. there are cases of people getting 2 =) ABing already speed up the rate of earning NPs by a ridiculous amount, anybody wanting a draik should have the patience waiting for at least a month or two to get it.

Had an egg, yes, and yes. Although my lutari is a techo at the moment. (yay, morphing potions!)

I obtained the egg because somebody was feeling especially nice that day and let me have it at cost.
