I've never understood what reputation is even good for.
If it's just for e-penis, the begging makes no sense. Defeats the purpose and is contradictory and makes my head hurt.

On a slightly different subject, I kind of like this new "fantasy team" approach... would still be nice to have some more statistics on the players, though.

Yes, it would of been nice. I picked mine out of past year's statistics and my personal favorites. I based most of my decisions from Daily Dares and such.
The fantasy team is really nice. A lot of football fans (though I really don't think a good chunk of neopets players are interested in football) can
plan their votes more wisely with a familiar system.

Defenders: Dirigibles, Mr Insane
Goalie: Snarkie

I think for the one your talking about, you need to get to rank 1. So 50 YYB wins or the equivalent.

For some reason I avoided picking viola and jimmy b/c both say something along the lines of 'i'll give it a shot, although i suck horseballs at games' and 'its just a game, have fun!'

I picked the ones that look the most nerdy and hence will be best at the new YYB
