Well am pretty bored at work, reading stuff for the university. And since am such a soccer fanatic, the team I cheer for is Boca Jrs (Argentina), my two heroes in soccer is Martin Palermo and Carlos Tevez, I played defender when I was little, goalie later on and then I tried out for forward, and I wouldn't change that position for anything in the world. Am playing in a team that a friend and my cousin made, and am the top scorer in that team, so am pretty happy.
Some of my best skills in soccer, is that am lefty (a bit difficult to defend a lefty), quick reaction, a good vision of play making, strong kick and a good header.

How about you? :)

I don't watch soccer or even play frequently.
    I enjoy pickup games however.

I also work for a MLS player and my friend's brother is a semi-pro. However, my friends brother is on a no name team.

Nice what's the name of the player?
The games are great each years is even more realistic, what do you prefer Fifa or Pro Evolution Soccer?

    I don't even know the difference :p

He's retired now and spent his last year on the NY Red Bulls. John Wolyniec is his name.

Lol ok, I always dream of becoming pro and had my chances, but I put study first, but at least I could play it as a hobby, I called by the team Velez Sarsfield over here in Argentina, they are the last champion in Argentina.

Bro, no offence, but there's no way that you'll be playing in Velez, unless you already are, I mean, how old are you?

I never said that I'll be playing, but back then when I was young like 15, they told me to try out that there were needing players, but never payed much attention and just wanted to finish my studies and other stuff, now am 20 and I know there is no way that now I could be playing, way to old :). So thats why I said I had my chances.

As for the topic...I don't know shit about soccer. The only time I play it is during gym class...back when I had gym classes.....When the Fifa cup was on last year I'd watch random games with my class during school but that's about it....

    MLS fucking blows.

Or at least TFC does just like every other Toronto team.

I watch FIFA mens cup and that's about it. I used to play it for several years, I was pretty decent but the game is too boring to watch.

I never watch soccer, but while I was playing, I think I really enjoyed being a defender the most. I'm terrible at sports, but I really enjoyed denying people the chance at scoring. Lose control of the ball for a split second? I'll kick it over your head to my midfield. It was great exercise. I really only quit because the girls on my team were so catty. They would constantly talk behind each other's backs so I said fine, screw you guys, I'm going home :p

I have great respect for goalies. Big freaking nets for a little guy.
