You're not doing anything wrong, sometimes you just miss, it happens to everyone. It's just a bad day.

You just have to remember that you're not the only one ABing.. and there's alot of them buying at a faster rate than you...

What you need to figure out now is when is the best time for you to AB, where there is less competition and you have higher chance of getting an item...

I get lots of misses too 10 out of 12 miss that mean i miss 83% of the time LOL even i am using a very competitive settings ( @ 0.5-0.8 for pre haggler and OCR @ 0.6-0.9) but it depends on the shop.

P.S Which shop u ABing in??

Exactly. I usually AB in the mornings, there seems to be fewer people on.

Id like to see a community graph made of earnings (items per hour or something) vs times. I'm sure someone on this forum has access to this database :)

I don't expect anyone to give away there secrets but id like to see what the top buyers times are.

try to make a list using the item database.. since you cant access the restock list generator.. you gotta do it manually... using notepad..

the list should just be the names of the items... last time i did it in this manner..

    Item A
    Item B
    Item C
    and so on...

using a list will make it hunt one shop only.. and that way you can choose which one you think will get the most item.. to me food shops are the best cos they restock often and you don't need exteremely competitive settings to grab items..

There are GM scripts that can AB for you, or you can get an autohaggler but you still have to click stuff manually.

Not every country is using USD and that's a reason why internet is call INTER*net

Thx for the info, may I hv your opinion that which method is safer?

That is not at all why it's called the Internet. Basically as earlier stated non-advanced Abrosia is slower than greasemonkey scripts+adblock.

The autohaggler would be safer, you can even download an auto refresher plugin if you'd like to save some extra clicks. I've used this method to get some of those shop avatars back in the day before abrosia.

What's your connection speed like? For a lot of people that's the biggest deal problem with misses. The amount of items being restocked has risen because it's summer and people are more active now though, it could just be bad luck.
