Bought Telescope Lens: 36831 NP (Est. Profit: -8355 NP)
^ From the Attic. I have it set buying items with at least a 20k profit.
Why would it buy this??

Oh that's weird. I haven't had any luck with attic buys on Abrosia either. :crybaby: And I haven't had a single igloo buy yet.

That happens some time :l I'm guessing it updates the price right after you bought it? I'm not sure. Maybe it wasn't priced for a long time before and the old price was really outdated?

That could be possible if it hadn't bought that same negative profit item twice in a row. -_-

If you don't close the program for a while and the list changes you get stuck with the old list because it only updates on program load. But even then it would display that item at a profit instead of a loss. So.. I have no clue

If you read it, it says: "Buy all AAA items worth more than." And you've set that to 20k

Your item is worth 28476 NPs

i think the attic buys items valued over what you put in, not at that level of profit
you should up it to 50k at least

Oh... I see. I presumed it would buy at a profit, though.
Wonder why it doesn't check the value of the item with the database first like it does in the main shops?
    Seems... silly.

Noo, I was just confused! I still love you Abrosia... <3

Because there are +36,000 items to check in the database
This number can be lowered by restricting to ONLY the correct rarity range, but this still leaves over 10,000 items.

Next comes the method of loading the list. Its likely the AB does NOT compare the price of every item against the price recorded in the database.. It loads a restock list using the prices recorded in the database. As the price for items in Main ships is different than the price of items in the attic/igloo, that profit calculation is unreliable...

The problem with the attic is that it is so competitive, the time spent checking item names against their recorded sale value could be the difference between getting the item and missing the item.

Ah, I see. Thanks for clearing that up for me! :)
