Mexican spanish sucks without offence, everybody make fun of them, and the programs, they are not original mexican speakers, the speakers have a neutral spanish, that means that it isnt any country, that spanish it's for all the latinamericans countrys.
Lol, that's exactly what I expected as a reaction. Everyone will say that their Spanish is the best, and in a sense, they're right. They were born in x country and are used to hearing whatever accent they speak there, so it's only natural that hearing accents from other parts of the world will strike them as odd/hard to understand, etc.
But still, there are cases where different accents are more easily understandable than others. For example, to me, Venezuelan Spanish is more neutral than Argentinian or Uruguayan. There was even a case where an Argentinian actress who came to act in a soap opera here, in Mexico, had to go to some diction courses in order to speak a more neutral Spanish.
That's why they rarely choose dubbers from Argentina or Uruguay.
But anyways, it's a subjective matter, so I guess that we won't come to a definite answer =/
Just like
this article says: "En definitiva, y para no alargarnos más, responder a la pregunta inicial es más fácil de lo que parecía. ¿Que dónde se habla el mejor español? Pues en todas partes y en ninguna."
