What is the difference between these weapons icons? For KBT, it's + and for GSword it's + []

The first means +1-3 water, the second means +0 or 3 air.

+++ means +3 levels past the first level you get it. After which you consistently do max icons

More "+" symbols means that it is harder to happen (that's why some abilities get more symbols progressively).
But in the end they have the same function as a single + symbol.

IIRC, the + sign of the species abilities depends on your pets level.

something like 4 icon + 1 more when your level 20 and +another 1 more icon at level 40

Now if only idb is up so that I can double check to confirm

That's strange, because my ptery's level is over 50, and sometimes his "pteri" ability doesn't show the whole 6 icons (even doing the whole math, it does between 4 and 6 icons).

I have never done less than 6 icons after maxing out the 3rd species attack.

Weird, I never saw inconsistent in the pet's specie ability.

It's either 6 icon at higher level or 4 icon for lower level pet or weaker abilities like kacheek smiles
