Before this event, Keeping Your Krawk Happy was selling for 25k-30k and now it's deflated to an average of 1k.
Worth investing in?

Of course not, there are way too many.

However, items that are used such as nerkmids and the (old) tombola coins skyrocket in price because they are used and thus, create an economic increase.

    Imma invest in them.
    Eventually, they'll inflate.

Yeah, but it'll take years, just like it does for old Advent Calendar items and such.

On that logic, this item is a book and as such is used, so wouldn't it inflate eventually.

I wouldn't. That seems like the slowest investment, not to mention it won't even produce that much. If you really want to invest in a book then invest in Gourmets, one year will be a lot slower wait than what you will be waiting for those to inflate to reasonable price to sell at. Or do something like stocks.

Coming from some past year experience most books are not worth investing in...even advent calendar. If you collect more then lets say 100 of a new book it will take years for a good inflation to occur. Even if you buy a ton of a book at 1000np and the next year same time its worth 1600 and the year after that its worth 2K + the problem still lies in selling it. If you put a bunch in your shop people will not buy them unless they are much cheaper then the shop wiz. Not to mention if you put a book worth 2k in the shop wiz for 1700 eg. some other douche is gonna put theirs in for 1650 soon after(probably before you sell them) because anything at that point is profit. So you could try selling them one at a time but then that is causing you to do a lot of work just to get basically 700 np profit..one at a time.

    It is tedious and sucks!

I have like 600 of one book and it has doubled in price from 6k to 12k but still nobody wants to buy it from my shop because people put theirs in their shop cheaper after a day and then its just a battle to keep lowering it...and this book was given out in the advent calendar over 5 years ago..

Its painful and time consuming and once you realize that any item given out by advent and others is not actually scarce but just hoarded by everyone it becomes a total pain when selling.

    /edit

for many of the items that I have purchased I deeply regret not leaving it in my bank at the 12.5% interest because It is so much easier! Don't waste your time trying to sell off items when you could be abing or something else that is much more valuable.

Extreme abundance, lashed on the lack of fans who read said books to reach the trophy. Investing from a logical point is actually a pitfall at this point in this type of game genre. Where everyday there is fewer and fewer players on neopets, with a much lower flow of neopoints. Neopets is losing 5% of it's player fan base a year if I read correctly on the net. Used to love the days where 70-100k little kids had nothing better to do than play this game and spend on needless things. Shop were booming now, it takes weeks or months to sell some old ets item :o
