Yesterday, and today I have been obsessing over vector art using photoshop. Yesterday I attempted my face, and today my little brothers. These are my first 2 go's at it.
What do you guys think?? ALSO I'd love to see some of your guys vector work too, if you have any. I saw some of Hazard's yesterday, and it was awesome. :) If only I was that good. :p

Nice work considering it as your first attempt....What program do you use?

Also practice makes perfect after doing a few more faces you will start to understand lighting and know where to put shading....Ive been vectoring for 2 years now.

i don't vector, but i've seen my share of very nice vexels
my tips would be to use gradients / gradient overlays, layer colours, and if you're going serious, invest in a tablet

here's a list of inspirational neopets vector artists for inspiration if you'd like

In fact i do have some tips.....well to help on your shading use the Gaussian blur tool, (found in Filters> Blur> Gaussian)
I normal use black for shade and blur it and depending on how dark it is use the opacity to gauge the correct shade tone, and for highlights i basically do the same but with white.
Play around with all this and you should come out with some great work

Why not do vector art with a vector graphics editor (i.e. Adobe Illustrator)?

If you just want to vectorize a picture, but you don't want to actually do the work then you can use Inkscape. They take like five minutes to do and look really nice.

I have no idea... I just watched a tutorial and decided to try it.

    Oh really??
That sounds kinda cool. I only did these though because I wanted to see if I could do it.

Personally, I find it much more rewarding to actually try and do the art, but if you're so inclined there's always the programs that do it for you. If you're interested I can try and explain how to do it.
