They had a protest in Tottenham because the black guy got shot, but the riot actually happened because when a 16 year girl questioned the police about it the police beat her up...
Dunno why the rest of the UK are rioting, although people are saying the youths are rioting becuase the Government took away EMA and increased uni fees.

There is no cause behind these riots. Riots are were people group up to protest something that they seem wrong. Looting only occurs in riots because of the people that come out of greed. these riots appear to be 100% about looting, and not about people grouping in mass to protest an injustice.

I think that aswell, they just used the black guy being shot as an excuse, and for what I've read he shot to the police first ( so the police are supposed to just get shot? it's not GTA). There are some photoshops here, why so many jokes about unicorns? I feel like I missed something.

I live like 5 minutes from a wooded area. I hear Bigfoot is real. The police are trying to cover it up.

These riots are really the dumbest fucking thing ever, well, Vancouver 2011 was worse I guess, but it was a 1 day thing not like a week long event spreading from city to city what is this bullshit, there's no purpose if they are burning buildings and looting stores, it's all for personal gain and not to prove a point.

The British government should charge those who are convicted of the crimes a 20% increase in sales tax for life, that would teach a lesson.

Apparently if you live in government subsidized housing (council flats I believe they're called), and you're found to be involved in the riots, you get evicted =)

That probably won't work unless they change the law. If they kick somebody out all they need to do is to apply to the council as homeless and the council will be obliged to house them so unless there's a change in the law it just won't work.

What is there to steal in a McDonalds? Besides the Happy Meal toys that is. I've always wanted a full collection of Smurf action figures.

They even burned a Greggs, these people should be locked up for life just for that.

Ok, is this the equivalent of Whole Foods or Central Market? Or more like Panera Bread? I'm not seeing the significance.

I believe they've already got the horses out. I'd just send the army in personally.

And repeat the black and tan incidents from the Republic across the Irish sea? Not likely.

Outrage at class structure I can understand. Looting, I can't. Sorry to those genuinely feeling the struggle, but it's not justifiable.

Greggs is basically the Northern English man's realisation of heaven one earth.
