I tested the codes and they're also not working for me.

The infinite lives code doesn't work, when I hit the right key I lose a life.

You can just leave the game window open and it'll accrue points without you having to do anything, which may be a good idea since jailing a civilian still makes you lose a life. Just convert the points to gold every now and then.
