Why not? A glance at your account on whim, if they see something they think suspicious they might be curious enough to look. I realize this is pretty farfetched but, I really don't see the point in even bothering making an effort reporting someone so pathetic when others will do so for you, if it even risks a miniscule amount of notice from TNT. By the way, your sarcasm is pretty nice. Funny even.

If he only contacted one person (unlikely, but lets play what-if), TNT can now link an account with a forum user. Find forum posts from that user admitting to stuff, and you better hope you have had proxies in order.

Have you ever thought about the cheater-caught system they use?
It would be ridiculously impractical if they were searching for cheaters this way.

What it's possible, however, is that someone reported someone from here, wich is impossible having only a post.
(Unless that the person wich send her that Nm reads this topic soon ).

I don't think TNT would spend the cash to pay one of their workers to infiltrate a forum and try to single individuals out. Do I think they'd do it to bring down *all* the players on the forum? Yeah I'd give them that credit. But as far as singling out individuals, I don't think it's worth their dime.

I would agree, but I also would not take the chance; guess that is just my personality. And it has already been proven that they do check third-party forums on occasion, so take that as you will.

That's unnecesary paranoia.

Not getting caught cheting it's mostly just common sense:
Don't post/give a hint about your neopets username here. (Just in case someone tries to report you.)
Don't make your cheating obvious on neopets. (Use the programs carefully.)

And some people say they check where had you been with you browser.
Thats illegal, and even if they did it, you can just use different browsers for neocodex and for neopets.

No I lent some guy like 800k a few months ago that said he was a great restocker that left neo and just came back and needs some points to get started. Everyone was flaming him when he made the asking board so I just gave it was sad to see the BDers flaming acting like 800k is some prized possession or something... or real money or something.
