Since you can get all the pieces from the Kraken daily (Governors Mansion thingy), it's not surpising, they dropped in price.

Also, it seems like its fairly often that you get the pieces so they aren't even tough to get a hold of... i think i had like 5 days in a row that I got a piece of the map..

Not to mention that they're one-time use. If they were like the consumable maps, their price would be higher.

i understand why they dropped in price, its common sense. just that, thats the fastest i saw a price go down from a map.

just go do the krawken daily every day and chances are you'll be able to get the map for free before prices fall that low

I also haven't buy any pieces too. Got 5 pieces from Krawken daily and trade the same pieces with other.

What price did they start at? there selling for around 8500np now so what they start at. I might have missed there starting prices xD

they originally started out UB as everyone was rushing to buy sets/individual pieces. A lot of n00bs stocked up on pieces thinking they would stay at the UB prices. It hovered above 100K for a while (per piece) but since the krawken daily has been giving them out pretty frequently, the prices have plummeted to what you see now. I wouldnt be surprised if they dropped as low as the petpet lab map.

Yeah it was indeed pretty fast. Kinda sad, because so you totally can't use it to make profit. But I'm happy about the new daily, I love dailies And even if I didn't get any good items, I got 10k twice now, what I find pretty much for a daily, krhr.

yeah i only got to take advantage + profit like, the first 3 days. even after 3 days the price dropped dramatically. love seeing the noobs put it up for auction for 50k a piece though. the daily hardly gives me ANYTHING.

The maps are currently selling for 6.75K a piece, I've purchased dozens of sets over the past 2 days for 4-5k per piece and just resold them.
Tomorrow i'm sure they will be 6k in the shop wiz and 5.5k the day after and 5k the day after that.
The only thing keeping the price up right now is the hoarders but even they are realizing that they are losing money.
I might buy myself a set today because at under 50k for the whole thing it doesn't seem like a lot of money

I think the price would eventually drop to like 2000-3000 per map piece. Unlike other map pieces which is received through RE's, this map is easily gotten through the daily. I wouldn't be surprised if the price dropped below petpetlab pieces in a year considering that there would be way too much in the economy by then. Poor Hoarders. I feel great that I sold my at 80-99K when I did. Today I bought 2 pieces that I didn't have and still made like a 1K profit.

I only ever get 2k np, but at least eventually the map will pay for itself

According to my average profit/day from Forgotten shore, It will take around 60 days to pay off the map (with the price I paid)

I'm hoping I get a MP/Egg, but the chances are so astronomically small.

Yeah I had gotten the Starry Grarrl MP... But it so far is the only item I have ABed that I have made any NP on and yes the link to the thread is in my siggy (below the speed test thing)
