Just an example of some 'real' rap.

I think Wayne is good lyrically... like versus he sais like, "karma is a bitch, well just make sure that bitch is beautiful" and "I tried to pay attention but attention payed me"... and so on.

You sound like a hipster, If someone offered you a few million to make a song with Rihanna i'd bet you'd take the offer in a heartbeat. And to say that Eminem lacks skill is just ignorant, to break through the underground and make it big time in a genre that was dominated by black rappers, he must have some skill right? To take someone off your list just because they "commercialised" is stupid, if you show a lot of skill on a track it's there forever to prove that they can do it, just because they made a song with a pop artist it doesn't take away that skill.I just saw this thread for the first time. Does anyone here even actually listen to rap?
blahblah

I saw your list but was addressing the part underneath.Yeah that makes sense... I am a "hipster" because I listen to actual rap and not hip-hop.
Way to burn me. Ohh it hurts.
What I did was compile a list on rappers based on skill, not hip-hop artists who have better record deals, and as such perhaps you should review my list and then respond?

Here is a real list, best rappers period, look them up.There you have it boys and girls, an actual list of rappers. I don't even get why you guys are wasting time listing Eminem here, its bad enough that every line he spews is clear recited countless times (shows lack of skill), at this point he has been commercialized past the point of ever being an actual rapper. This is the entire reason that 50 Cent didn't make my list. Arguably Marshall Mathers was at his best when he was under the stage name Slim Shady, again commercial overkill he has had more stage names than any rapper I can think of. Most rappers get theirs when they are kids, they don't make them up and change them as they go along.
- Bone Thugs N Harmony
- Bizzy Bone
- Lil Boosie
- Tupac
- Biggie Smalls
- Bonecrusher
- Jadakiss
- Lil Wyte (If you have you heart set on white rappers)
- SPM - South Park Mexican (Looking for a little more of a Southern beat)
- Boyo - Bo Burnam (If you are looking for funny not rap, rap)

Yes, yes, yes yes and yes. FINALLY. I couldn't bring myself to post in this thread because every time I read through the replies I'd die a little on the inside. You have awesome taste in music.
I'm just so happy you listed Boosie and Wyte lol. Oxycontin is one of my all time favorite songs
What about Snoop, 213, Eazy E or anything like that?
I mean I like eminiem and lil wayne and some of the more popular artists too, it's just I hate when people talking about how they're the best/worst - when that's probably all the rap they listen to. And then they judge the genre as a whole based on those select few.
