I was wondering if there was a code or some other cheat to be able to see exactly when an auction will end, as opposed to just seeing <30 min

Is there a program, or a Greasemonkey add on or something?

Nope, it's impossible. They even add some randomness to the time so you can't tell when it's going to finish by watching when it changes from say 30 min-2 hours to < 30 mins.

That's really messed up. I've always hated the Neopets Auction system.

I've managed once to track the time for an auction, only because I bid instantly on it, then worked out being in the 30min > 2 hour bracket, it had to be either of 2 times... only real way to do it...

Watching for the time changes doesn't work because of the randomness they add, we actually tested that once and the expected time was literally minutes out of sync. :/ Knowing when an auction is first posted is really the only way to get a decent estimate of when it will finish.

It would make it a lot simpler for us if they went back to using the actual seconds/minutes/hours an auction has remaining from a programming perspective. :p

Wouldnt really be overly-difficult for them to implement the change either, really don't understand why not.

TNT are buttheads

But yeah, unless you're the user who put the item in auctions/saw when the user put it in auctions it's impossible to tell when an auction will end o: ~

You could always just refresh over and over again in the top 20 items. It would almost look more legit that way.
