I think cool is one of the few words whose definition and use are actually really well aligned. What i mean is cool is something that never goes out of style. And the word itself hasn't either while no one says daddio or swell anymore, cool has been around forever.

But that's just in English speaking world.

If we were to use an equivalent term for all cultures would we find similar characteristics? Is there a world commonality to "cool"?

I think cool boils down to mysterious what about you guys?
