I had a freak offer, it was close to completion too. so close.
It started out with my friend IRL giving me his FFQ.
At first, he just said, if you buy me the item, i'll make a FFQ for you.
I promptly bought him the 300k item and sent it to him, then told him to reserve it for me.
I was gleeful and ignorant.
After a week or two, I found a really great offer.
This player asked me to do a three way trade, her RW for my FFQ, and i could trade the RW for a very nicely named, mid-tier UC grey pet.
I went back to my friend and he asked me to pay for the FFQ.
We agreed on a price of 600k i believe, which isn't too bad at all for a FFQ.
So then a week passes and I complete the FFQ. However, the girl who wanted the FFQ custom isn't on for me to do october transfers. I have to wait another week to do november transfers (i'm quite stingy with using mine) and i send the FFQ'd pet to her.
All goes well, she gets her pet, i get the RW.
I contact the owner of the uc grey pet. She says sure, lets trade for the bare, basic RW.
I agree on it, but the thing is, she's consecutively offline for 4 days, twice in a row.
When i finally catch her online, she asks me to do a morph + royal custom.
Me, just getting scammed, ask her if its alright if i just do the royal custom. She agrees.
We're so close and then
Bam. I lend myself in the hospital, I let the owner of the grey pet know before hand that I'm anticipating admission in the hospital, she says she'll wait.
After 3 days when I get back, I immediately check her account.
To my dismay, the grey pet is gone.
I check the pet's petlookup, and it looks like it's stuck in transit.
I neomail the owner (who hasn't been on in 3 days at this point) if she was still interested.
I don't get a reply.
That was two days ago.
Just now, I decide to check up onn her account again, and i get this message
This account has been disabled.
600k wasted (least of my worries)
a FFQ wasted
a months worth of anticipation and .. excitement, really ... all wasted.
I get a not-too-decent RW in return.
