I was in my friends car going to collect my car from getting the windows tinted when on the way he crashed!

He pulled over in a bus stop to use his phone as its against the law to use the phone while driving as you know!

When he was pulling out of the bus stop he miss judged the distance of the car coming and pulled out right on to it and it smashed into the side of us!

When police and paramedics turned up they pulled up his file and said was he wearing his glasses that he has to be wearing when driving..

I had to leave my buddy to get my car before the garage closed i felt bad but will he get in massive trouble for not wearing his glasses as he admitted to the police he miss-judged the distance between the cars hence the glasses thing

P.S everyone was fine no one was hurt just 2 mashed cars!

    Well I'm glad you're okay :)

    And yeah....if your friend has a corrective lenses restriction on their license, they're gonna get in some trouble.

    Their own fault though, so you shouldn't be feeling bad ^^;

    Why wasn't he wearing his glasses? If he needs them to judge distances better then its real dangerous for him to be driving without 'em, not just dangerous to himself but to everyone in the car and everyone driving near-by. Thank fuck it wasn't a bike that hit into you, sorry to say but it's people like your friend who will be the death of me. I've only been riding 2 years but the amount of times i've had cars pull out in front of me is unreal :/

    There is a very very high chance they will ticket him for the accident, and that he will be placed at fault for getting hit like that. I don't know how you can possibly misjudge the distance enough to get hit. The second you pull out, the other person will be breaking like fuck, and you should be accelerating as fast as possible.

    I've never worried about misjudging the distance, only about thinking the car is in the second lane when its in the first. Especially at night, fucking can't see much besides headlights blinding you.

    I totally read this as "Today I was in a car wash!" and I was like... congrats? Unless you and your friends are hot college boys idc.

    I'm glad no one was hurt. <3 Where do you live that driving and talking on your phone is illegal? They were trying to push that legislation through here in Florida but it didn't make it so we're free to ignore the road as much as we want.

    Im from London!

    i spoke to my friend, But it turns out the other driver was spose to be wearing their glasses too but they wernt so they let them cancel each other out.

    The police and ambulance service left them as it turned out no one was hurt just all that needed to be done was swap insurance details and shake hands and deal with the rest of the day. I met up with my friend earlier as he came around mine to fit my angel eyes hallo ring headlights to my car and he is completely fine!

    And em in reply to this "Unless you and your friends are hot college boys idc."

    We dont struggle to get girls.. lets leave it as that ;P --- really hate sounding big headed -_-
