You can try two things: use lists, or lower your profit margin. I used to miss everything (I have an extremely slow connection) but then I followed Splatzilla's guide and voila. I am on my way to becoming wealthy.

5000 is actually kind of high for main shops. If you lower it to 2500 you will get several more items.

Advanced is all you can really do. Offer to pay for a month in NP, isn't THAT expensive. You can make it fairly easily with the neopoint generator and igloo (in which buy speed isnt that big of a factor). The default wait times are very painful for people outside the US. All you can do to remedy that is get advanced unfortunately.

1million NP has a going rate of about $2 on this site. So probably about 3 million. I can say though, that it's probably worth it given your distance.

I agree with the igloo post.
Igloo is a good place if you can't catch profitable items in main shops (like me D; I use lists sometimes, but when it's not a good day, I switch to igloo).

I made a lot of money in igloo yesterday compared to main shop buying. I don;'t think you can do anything to make abing quicker

First of all what is your current buy speed? Ideally with normal settings it should be around 1.5 to 2 seconds. So what is it with your delay? I'm from Europe aswell and I was managing 2.2 seconds buys without advanced membership. Maybe try different shops? I used to get away with 2 seconds+ buys all the time in food shops.

Like you said your answer is definitely advance membership.

Unless you're trying AB in places like Magic and Stamps.. I tested the water abit earlier this week and still couldnt get a buy with 1.3-6 second buy times.

My buy speeds ar normally around 2.0 to 2.2 seconds... today I had a buy of 1.9 seconds...
so its a bit slow.. for getting high value items!!

if someone is willing to trade neopoints for advanced please mail me!

No one wants to forget about high profit items and use the low profit high volume strategy. More profit for me then while you miss all your high profit items :)

You're not the only one that does this ya know :p

It's honestly the better way to earn NP in my eyes.

Sure, you'll earn slower. But it's steady

Yeah, I know I am not, but majority of ABers are only interested in high profit goods. Look at the numbers in magic or post office :) But I agree. The only way to earn nps especially if you're not advanced and don't have a fast connection :)

1.9-2.2 is fine. You may not get much in places like magic, or stamps, but if that is with the default abrosia settings for non-advanced, you're doing better than I am. I have to limit my OCR and pre haggle to both 0.1 to achieve 1800/1900ms buy times.
