Nope. Both can be shorted.. No matter how short the process is WITHOUT a program, if it can save time no matter how short of an amount. It's worth it.

By that logic, there should be a program that opens 'My Computer' to save you pressing Start > My Computer.

Either ask someone on the programming team so it can be added as part of the program manager, or ask someone else to make it as a standalone app.

^^We should all totally do this. Thanks Sida.

Most people have a "My Computer" shortcut on their desktop. ;)

This is a great idea! i would definetly use this for my pet : even if you simplified it to just reading all the books you have that the pet doesn't know.

I've never seen this "My Computer" thing you're talking about..

However, I think this is a good idea, but a little bit unnecessary.

Unless you are going for the booktastical award (or whatever it's called) or wanting to use Crisp Blue Tunic (750 int and it's a 100% steal/100hp drain)/4block), I really don't see the point.

Would be fun to use any ways, and I can help in it's production if that is going to happen.

This would be QUITE helpful. I hate having to go look down my neopet's list of books they read just to find which ones i haven't read yet. Anyways, I give this a big thumbs up!

I wouldn't use this, but I think it's a good idea and shouldn't require much work. Just regularly updating a list of books.

For everyone that hates checking which books their pet has read: http://items.jellyneo.net/books/

You paste the page source of your quick ref page into the form on that page, and it generates a list of all of the books that your Neopet has not read. You can filter the list by name, rarity, and price. Paste the book names into the Shop Wiz, buy a few, then read them. Rinse and repeat (program would still be easier, but this will do in a pinch.)

This would be a fantastic program, but alas, I don't care about books. I only buy them to resell ;)

I absolutely love this idea! With a NP limit it'd be a really good way of boosting stats just by reading the cheap books. I would definitely use this, and would be very interested in a gourmet foods one as well.

i don't like it...... because reading books is such an easy thing(just search the list and buy, and there are only a little range of books which are buyable, and then??? you still have to trade with others), don't let the programmer do that boring program...... we should make program in which people would save much time but gain the most benefits. that's just my idea :)

^ On that note I'd just like to say that there are about 1803 buyable books

I think we still have to run it by the programmers and see what they say.
