POPULAR POST!

Takes all the books in the database and puts them in increasing NP cost.
Takes all the books a certain pet knows and removes it from this list.
Buys the books (to the maximum cost of xxx) and reads it to a certain pet.
After done, changes language and goes through the book list again, allowing the pet to read the previously "boring" books.
Repeats the previous step if there are still "boring" books with another language.

Just an idea~ What do you all think

You guys can't seriously be so fucking lazy...
I mean, some sort of log that keeps track of what you've read and what's the cheapest unread books and whatnot, sure, but auto reader?come on...

Love the idea, but you could save time on that step by checking the length of the pet name and the length of the name of the book; if they have an equal number of characters, change the language, read the book, and change the language back (assuming the language change would not cause errors with the Program Manager).

I could have a look into this, but considering I barely play Neopets, I have absolutely no idea what you're all talking about :p

Knowing what the point in reading is, what languages and pet name lengths have to do with anything, and where to find out what you're supposed to read would be a good start ^^

Appears they changed the formula from last time I paid attention; it is more than just the same number of characters now.

Also, see http://items.jellyneo.net/books/ for anyone that wants to read books without a program.

Reading increases your pets intelligence and helps with being able to use certain items in the Battledome. You can also earn a trophy with the regular books and then theres the booktastic award/trophy for the books read from shop 70 (Booktastic Books).

Not 100% on the languages and pet name lengths though. Someone else could enlighten you on that one.

There are book lists on JN or even just use codex's item DB.

i don't like it...... because reading books is such an easy thing(just search the list and buy, and there are only a little range of books which are buyable, and then??? you still have to trade with others), don't let the programmer do that boring program...... we should make program in which people would save much time but gain the most benefits. that's just my idea :)

I'd use this program too, were it to be developed.
It's just a pain trying to remember which books my pet hasn't read yet.

The only way I can keep track is to visit my pet's page and ctrl F it.
I'm just too lazy to do that =p

lol at the people saying it's too lazy.. Are these the same people legit rs'ing?. I think not!!.. Technically ABrosia makes you too lazy aswell ;)
Eitherway, awesome idea, I'd definitely use it.. Although atm I don't care about my pets stats..
but I will soon. Again, great idea.

For legit restocking you need to know the DB (what's profitable and what not), to spend hours refreshing and to have certain skills. To read a book you have to click on it and read it. There's a difference, don't you think? ;)

This would actually be 100% awesome since I've been trying to raise my pet's intelligence manually for a while now. Everytime I start going through the database and looking at which cheap books my pet hasn't read I get bored after like 30 minutes and stop. I'd use it!

Abrosia make you lazy for RS, because RS it's boring. (I dont AB though)
And for books, they're more boring that RS manually xD
It's click, click, click, click, click and buy, look at the DB,etc and that stress me up

Either ask someone on the programming team so it can be added as part of the program manager, or ask someone else to make it as a standalone app.

Nope. Both can be shorted.. No matter how short the process is WITHOUT a program, if it can save time no matter how short of an amount. It's worth it.
