I got the shapeshifter program last night and used it once.. It solved one puzzle and then said that it has reached the limit set by neocodex... I tried today and it said the same thing. Is there something I need to do for it?

pretty sure this program has a limit to how far it will go in the game to how many posts or your member ranking is.

If you had a look in the Programs section,
iargue clearly states why that is so.

This program is restricted by your post count. It will only solve up to the level of your post count divided by 10. So if your post count is 500, it will solve to level 50. If your post count is 50, it will solve to level 5.

It goes by post count, not rank.

Pretty sure it takes your post count and divides it by...3? Maybe that's the right number. Whatever that comes out to is how high the program will go.
