It's been three years since I've even touched Photoshop. Downloaded the program a couple of hours ago and threw this together. This was originally my entry for the SOTW contest, but I figured I could make a better one. I'd forgotten how fun making this stuff could be. :p C&C?

It's not bad for someone who hasn't touched Photoshop for 3 years.

The one thing about this is that the render takes up too little of the tag.
When that happens, the render usually appears low quality and isn't really comfortable to look at.
(Generally, a render should take up around 1/3-1/2 of the area of the tag.)

Some parts are over-blurred (his sword handle) and other parts are over-sharpened (the yellow effect to the right of his head), and those objects shouldn't really be blurred/sharpened.

Oh, also, I suggest using the rendered version of this image (I would know because I have the render):
    Spoiler

Some things that I like about this tag are its color scheme (almost like a color splash) and lighting.

I personally think that the blur adds a sense of depth to the tag, but I understand (and agree with) your sentiment regarding the sword hilt. I may rework this piece and take your advice into consideration. I also wasn't very fond of the render to begin with, given its low quality.

    Thanks for the feedback. :)
