Huh. I don't mind sharing at all, whether it's something i've made or bought. I don't even mind if they ask or not.
Then again my mates are like that as well. If it's not in your stomach then it's your own fault if someone else snags it.

Unless it's something i've specifically made of the girlfriend and I. I'll make them rue the day they decided to steal that :p

I have a terribly irrational but all-consuming fear of saliva, so sharing food is not a comfortable experience for me...I always fear I'll get a glob of their saliva or other oral fluids/materials. :(

Yus. Thanks to my photographic memory, if I see something out of the place I put it, I go into a rage with the force of 1,000 suns and write a strongly worded letter to whom it may concern.

    I love sharing! ^_^

I dont mind if someone grabs something from my food as long as they grab it with a clean fork/spoon.
And I enjoy eating the most diverse I can, so if someone is eating something different than me, I'll ask them to share.

Also, when I'm on buffets, I like to take a tiny bit of each meal so I can taste of each one (that's what a buffet is for).

Not at all. I'm a terrible sharer. I HATE sharing my food. I'm a bit of a germophobe, so I don't like people putting their mouths on what I'm going to be eating or drinking.

Let me know how the dirty Jamaican sweet corn tastes. I won't be sampling that one.

If I see something like that happen, probably I would not eat from it either...

But it's very probably that something has happened to your food before you eat it.
You can't tell if something fell into your food while it was being cooked and they just removed it before serving.

The only way to keep it completely clean would be preparing all your food by yourself (harvesting, cooking, etc.).

Buffets gross me out. They always remind me of pigs feeding at a trough.

I love buffets because I'm a secret fatty. But the people who go to buffets regularly depress me.

Wow... this will forever stay in my mind. Thanks..........

I don't mind sharing food to people I want to share it with.
But whennn a bitchh I don't know comes and asks for food and goes on bout being greedy.
then you already know... I'll just walk away, eat my food in front of their face. "what was that?"

but there's always that one person who'll overreact and will
fight you if they get turned down and makes you lose appetite. . .
    people these days

My friend purposely gets another plate at the end of the meal that he has no intention of eating because he feels what he paid for the buffet wasn't worth what he actually ate. I'm unsure how to feel about his methods.

Wow... this will forever stay in my mind. Thanks..........

Personally I find giving in to someones request for your food a sign of submitting to them, subconsciously we are still in our primitive mindset and food is still something we would kill for if it was the only option.

    Wow
    I don't do this
    ever

In any way shape or form. I always encourage people to take some of my food. Even if its extremely delicious I'll want as many people to try it as possible so that we can all get it together next time. Posted Image

The only time I hate sharing food is when I only have a little amount and I want to eat it all myself, especially if it was expensive.

And it's always when I get Häagen-Dazs too, I should just buy generic brand Ice Cream.

I don't mind if I'm only sharing like, a quarter of whatever I'm eating, but what bothers me is that they come back for more and it feels like they're trying to make me feel guilty if I don't give them food and they're giving me puppy dog eyes and all that.[/size]]

    < This

I don't mind sharing at all. What I can't stand is when people get greedy and keep coming back for more, and end up eating half my lunch, while their plate is still full.

I personally get ally annoyed if your eating something, and then one of your friends goes and grabs something off my plate. I have one friend who is like that and my other friends don't even care. She reminds me of a little dog taking food off of the table to eat. I let people share if they ask me, they may NOT go and take it without my permission, or else I will get REALY angry, especially if it's pomegranate.

I've never had anyone not get my permission first when it comes to food so I don't really mind.

Sharing is caring after all

Personally doesn't like sharing food that has contact with another person's fluids (E,g drinks, stuff that requires them to bite on the portion I'm enjoying) I do not mind sharing chips and popcorns and stuff that another person can just pick and eat the whole thing.

It really annoys me when we go out for dinner and people suggest ordering a number of dishes to share. No, I'll choose what I want and I'll eat that thank you very much. Don't care for all your fingers in my food!

I get really food greedy with things that I have to prepare. Example: If I make myself myself some mac and cheese and have only enough for me, having it taken me 20 minutes of cooking and plenty of plates to wash, I get very food territorial. I'm pretty open to sharing, and don't care at all about germs (I've gotten mono from sharing too liberally...).

Edit: The one thing that does annoy me is when people reach into my plate without asking.

I don't have any problems sharing food, but if someone comes and just takes it without asking, or asking while they have the food already in their hand, I'll get pissed.
Luckily I don't have this problem with my current roommate, although we have some more serious issues... as in how does a frying pan end up under the couch wtf!
But yes I understand your situation just tell them to not be lazy and get their own food, you did it so why can't they... strangely enough sharing milk is the one thing I'm picky about, not sure why since I don't mind sharing other drinks.
But if you take my cookies at 9am I will decapitate your hand :)
