And still no avatar. I'm feeling like I really get the raw end of the deal when it comes to the 'Random' ones....

Any words of encouragement? Anyone spent a ridiculous amount and not got it? Or spent 10 mil...and then get it?

I am pretty sure Ive read somehere that you can refresh at the page that says that you got leftovers until the avie is in your avie list by preferences. I just tried it and got it, first time |D

Get a light weight pet. I think 14/15/16 lbs is the lightest, I can't remember.
Put it in the lodge so that it's bloated.
Feed using the movie or other ways to make it very bloated.
And try going kelp again.

I used a 20+ lbs pet but I couldn't get the avvie.
The first time I use a 14/15/16 lbs pet I got it.
You can only refresh when you have leftovers to bring home.
Also check your preferences cos sometimes they don't have a RE alert.

nah I didnt refresh. I just tried it like ten minutes before I saw this topic. Then I remembered I've read that somewhere.

i tried about 9 times before i finally got it...

only advice is choose 1 from every option each time and attempt it like consecutively.. that's how i got mine..

Yeah I chose the cheapest meals out of all their selection too.

It took me about 800k, I used a very light pet and just chose one the cheapest item from each menu. It shouldn't take more than 2m if you do it right.

Well I'm up to 2 mil now. Using a light pet. And I've tried numerous variations of foods, switching between a full menu (about 10 times now) and using one cheap item lots....

It's a bit ridiculous. It's not like I'm rich.

The first 1.5 mil was spent on 'one' strategy...but considering it's apparently completely random...I'm guessing that means if I'm down on my luck it could literally never happen. 0.o

I was very lucky on that one, first try. Only 1 pet, extremely bloated, lodged & not sick.
