I'm in the market to get a phone. I've narrowed it down to the two following:

http://www.bestbuy.c...d=1218262482328

I cannot decide between the two.

Does anyone have either of these, and could you give me your opinions on either?

Or, if anyone has it.

Also, is there any WP7 users here?
I'm considering the HD7.

I don't have them, but I'd say the G2x looks promising.

I use a Windows phone. And I actually really like it a lot! Dunno why it isn't more popular than it is ;o;

I've never used a droid phone...so I can't give a good opinion on those

Nexus S, my boyfriend has it and really likes it so far. Don't know anyone with the G2x.

definitely NOT the piece of shit LG/. i've gone through two, and i hate them. worst phones i've ever gotten (they were older, but nevertheless)
my ex also had an LG eve running droid, but it was still shit. problems starting up, software was screwy, etc.

Android is a pretty good platform, i just got an HTC and i'm quite impressed with the android market, didn't expect it to include as much as it does.

As well, i'd say chose the HTC if you like physical keyboards. i'm a huge fan of those, so i'd probably chose that over all the rest.

Get the Galaxy s2, fastest phone out there (just played KQ on it ;P) .. fairly cheap too for a smart phone (unless you go for the s2x/s2LTE)
Very comparable to the Google Nexus but better (Nexus is overated due to the hype of 4.0 release)

Good luck finding a phone :D

I strongly considered the Galaxy S2 when I upgraded. Instead I went with smaller + no where near as fancy Exhibit II. Anyways, just go to the store and play with the models you are considering. :/

I would get the Galaxy S2, but my choices are somewhat limited to the phones which T-Mobile has available for free, of which these are the best.
On a 2 year contract, I'd have to pay 229.99$ for the S2.

That being said, the G2X has the best specifications out of any of them, having a 4Inch screen, dual core 1GHz processor, 1080p video, 8MP camera, and 8GB of space. I'll probably get it, then use a custom rom on it to speed it up even more. But, I'm really wanting opinions about the windows phone 7 operating system.

That is, unless someone could tempt with me another phone

Out of those, definitely the Nexus S. Go with WP7 if you don't know anything about phones and just want a dumbed down user-friendly OS

The Slide (besides that awkwardly spaced keyboard) is beautiful and I basically molested it in the store for 10 minutes wishing I could afford it. I'm stuck with a Samsung Exhibit 4G, but it's nice if you're alright with middle of the line stuff/lots of freezing. The Nexus had a bit of a strange shape/size/hold imo despite being very nice, and I haven't played with the G2x yet.
