    I've tried and failed :(

Whenever I do try to restock the legit way, nothing appears or comes up. Last MP I saw in magic worth buying was the Faerie Draik Morphing Potion up for 80k+. Posted Image I checked magic for a random reason and boom it was there -.-. Thing is, I only had 20k on me. I raged quit.

Good for you! I can refresh on the second and manually I have a 1800~2200 buy speed. . . I've still ALWAYS missed. Hence why I wont restock there with Abrosia, it would be WAY too suspicious if I pull off any.

Some people can buy items manually quicker than some people can AB them. For example, people in places like Australia would only be able to buy items in like 1.5-2 seconds at the fastest because of their distance from the Neopets server whereas people located in America with fast connections would probably be able to buy items within 1 second even manually.

The main advantage to autobuying is that you don't have to sit there refreshing manually for hours, you can just start it and leave it running in the background while you do other things.

Sometimes I legit restock while I AB - then I can chose what items to clear and such... I missed the same Darigan Draik MP both on AB and manual this morning, got to the haggle on screen, idk if ABer did or not.

The only time I ever managed to get something legit from Magic was a few years ago when I had no idea what anything was worth and saw a Green Uni MP. Posted Image

I have legit restocked three MP's from Magic, not counting my noob green Uni fail. That's 3 more than I've gotten with Abrosia. Mostly because I never go there.

It's a myth that Abrosia is faster than legit RS'ers. I wish legit players would stop blaming AB'ers for the fact that they can't get items. I can't open Neotracker on my phone to see the global speed statistics but I would wager that buy times with Abrosia average around 2000 ms. Legit RS'ers tend to refresh more often and like Waser said can have buy times under 1000 ms with a good connection.

The average is about 2.3 seconds and the fastest is about 600ms.

I made a chart of the buy speeds about 6 months ago:

I used to legit restock at magic. Probably got a couple of decent mps. I then switched to semi legit which made things a lot easier. Only problem with this is its a tedious task sitting there and refreshing...

I refresh in there when I get insanely bored, but have shitty luck and nothing (good) ever restocks :9
Mind, that happens every time I try and RS, no matter what the shop~

Only once legitimately :\ Pretty much the pinnacle of competitive restocking because of the amount of r95+ that restock there.

I've only been able to do it semi-legitly.

    As in I used a GM auto-haggler.

Got a few that way....but I always end up doing something stupid and get myself frozen. Never been frozen for using abrosia once :p

Greasemonkey script which helps to haggle for items when restocking.
Not exactly similar to abrosia. You still need to click on the item and refresh manually.

And I don't rs at magic manually because the potions go out too fast.
Actually, I can't rs manually at all. :p

I wouldn't say it's easy to be frozen using GM. I use a lot of GM scripts. It will be hard for TNT to detect anything because it just acts like you are doing it on the browser.
Beware of some GM scripts, they could be cookiegrabbers. You can always check at the discussion to see if anything's amiss. ;)

I'm not sure how the GM haggler works though, I only use Abrosia. xD
But all GM scripts work the same generally, you just go to the specified webpage and they'll do their own intended purpose.
