Hey,

just practicing some signature background with brushes and stuff.

I thought I'd post them up for people to check out. I don't mind if anyone wants to use them and edit them.

Also, feedback is more than welcome :)

They are not all that good as I am still kinda new to making sigs.

wow, these are actually really really nice, mind sharing tutorials / resources?

as well, how'd you get the stippled effect on sig three? was it just a pattern set on overlay / soft light? it looks really nice with what you've done c:

    Hey mate,

thanks I'm glad you like them. I didn't use any tutorials to create these just playing around with colours and brushes using different blending modes. I downloaded the big brush pack in the gfx resources section and some random ones from different brush sites.

um sig 3, for that I used brushes, that stippled effect was a fluke lol it came from the brush I think.

Also what did you use to create those lines in the background of that sig?

They are really nice, grats. If you ever want to practise a darigan themed sig, i wouldn't stop you, and carry it as my sig proudly :p

They look pretty nice, though a bit over sharpened for my tastes. You're off to a great start. I would definitely try and experiment using some stock images, as well as stepping out of your "box" that you've created; they all seem to have the really nicely blended/technical look from the textures. I'd try playing around with styles a bit, cos you might be surprised!

These are nice backgrounds... but there isn't anything in them.
None of them has a distinct focal point, and there really isn't anything to look at.

Try adding some subject in your tag, like a render or text.
