Bring out another 'elitist' rare pet, considering they have nuked Krawks/Draiks? Maybe there is a reason for devaluing them....to make way for a new, ridiculously hard to obtain species?

I totally agree with others, they dont do anything if it wont make them earn some cash. I prefer them to learn customer/member support/care before creating new pets. A plot wouldn't be bad either But no, thanks for a new pet.

The reason why they tried to devalue krawks/draiks because at one point they were borderline 15-20m each. The deflation of those pets was out of necessity in my opinion to make them more readily accessible for those brave soulz who *gulp* masochistically play flash games and pyramids to even earn one.

I am also hoping that TNT is preparing a new elitist pet. I'll probably get one even if it costs 50m. I hope it comes from the next plot:

I think they should close the Grundo Adoption agency while Sloth attacks Neopia (war plot), crashing the Space Station to Neopia (earth) and mass releasing Eventide/Robot colours (and new land). A new pet is discovered as Sloth's new 'slave' pet; you have to 'buy' them from him personally for 8M Neopoints or w/e amount of NC... would also create another GOOD neopoint sink.

EDIT: Fuck being able to buy them from Sloth - if they are to be really elite they should be the LV 25 (of 25) quest prize for Sloth's quests - like a mini-Jhudora; Sloth will ask for items with rarity: 81-99 (ending up with multiple r99 quests) over the 25 quests, or some shit like that.

TNT has no wish to create a new neopets anytime soon, they mentioned in a previous editorial (that I'm too lazy to go look for) about how long it'd take (years) them to draw/adjust all the wearables/etc. (idunno, I just skimmed through it x-x) if that were to happen.

Funny, this same dream flashes before our eyes every time we see a request in the Editorial for a new species. Thankfully we have a paper bag to hyperventilate into.
