Or, at least notify the account user when they log on they need to change their name, because it has been removed and reused.
Shouldn't you just email them and tell them its going to be deleted if they don't log on within a month or something?

It was done for me many moons ago, I'm sure it could be done for you to. I've PMed SL in the past and had it changed.

We usually just put something like Username2 (where Username was their original name, of course).
