I was slightly provoked, and I used the Posted Image to show I was jokiing.

Don't really think that qualifies/

A) How were you "slightly provoked?"
B) It wasn't funny...
C) If you think mocking others is fun and only a "joke," then I don't know why you don't think it's funny when everyone else does it to you. ;)

Three pages in less than an hour, must be a record.

Pretty simple to see that you edited your post 10 minutes ago and Joe posted 12 minutes ago... Nice try. ;)

And yes, those /b/ morons are "taking down" servers that host the CIA/FBI/DoJ website through DoS attacks. It's really no huge feat... Any server can only handle so many requests. They didn't "hack" anything. There has been no information lost from the servers to these individuals. It's all a publicity stunt and it's a really idiotic one at that. We're all concerned about things like online privacy and these anti-piracy bills, but do you think the government, or the idiots in congress, know that these DoS attacks are harmless? Do you think they are more or less likely to attempt to control and regulate the internet with an iron fist with occurrences such as these?

These attacks are childish and moronic and really are not worth the time of anyone. I hope the government finds these idiots and puts them in jail for stupidity to prevent them from breeding.

I guess I was the one taking things out of context this time. I misunderstood what you were implying initially. But you cant support sweenys treatment of me, and then say that what I said was over the line. This is what all this drama causes. I was on edge because of the problems, and honestly just wanted to start a thread on something I was interested in without being mocked or flamed. I am sorry for the drug comment, and if you had a little more info on the situation, I dont think you would be upset.

Ways to handle dealing with Sweeney:

    1. Ignore him, wait for someone else to post. RECOMMENDED
    2. Try scrambling to form a defense, as I do. NOT Recommended.
    3. Cry.
    4. Post a picture that has literally nothing to do with what Sweeney says.
    5. Mimic Sweeney, Sweeney - "So?" You - "So?"
    6. Disrupt space time and father Sweeney.
    7. File a police report about it and get laughed at.

And no Sweeney. None of the topics were stupid. Thats why I posted them. They may not be intersting to everyone, but you cant please everyone.

I for some reason am willing to bet that I am not the first person to have a problem with Sweeney.

Alrighty, then let's go through them one by one, and we'll see if I can't give a little run down of what happened.

    http://www.neocodex...._1#entry1552889

Quantum Levitation Thread; included snide note to me "and [my] fanclub". Hardly an unprovoked response, now, is it?
But did the thread have merit? Certainly, so long as you don't consider that all the topics in the thread have been discussed previously.

    http://www.neocodex...._1#entry1554885

Second topic from today. No one else posted.
My post was an invitation to have a discussion about the issues supertrap has with me without derailing the topic. Hardly a hate crime.

    http://www.neocodex...._1#entry1552872

Admittedly, a facetious first post. So let's count this as one for the opposing team.
A generous concession given that only one other post on the thread was relevant to the topic, and one of them was "huh? derp."

    http://www.neocodex...._1#entry1546434

And finally, (what I believe was) our first encounter, where we had a brusque but fruitful conversation about the nature of knowledge.
I don't think anyone could consider it harrassment, even if you weren't really able to come up with a logical refutation of my opinions therein.
