I've seem to have never made a post yet. Been a member for about 5 months now, and been coming around daily for a bit longer than 5 months.


I live in Sweden and it's cold. I've moved here from Canada. It wasn't cold in Vancouver.
On neopets I just happily and merrily waste my time, buy items, and earn NP and avatars. I don't really care about pets, pet colours, or cheating.

I'm constantly wondering when Neopets will shut-down for good, and wondering what would be the outcome of that. On the contrast, I'm trying to learn flash, while my partner codes php and make a browser game of our own.

I don't know why but I just can't seem to come up with anything that is response worthy. It seems like it has either been said, will be said, or understood already so I've just been happily reading as if it were a newspaper.


Thanks for the great posts, they are a pleasure to read on my spare time.

Yes, in the winter we need 50 blankets and 10 radiators to keep us warm, and we do eat rotten fish, but I think thats more so people in the north.

For Christmas dinner it's usually fish and ham.

That's very interesting . I learned flash in university , action scrip is a nightmare. ...and so is php but at least you get payed well if you do it right. Do you have any games online? that I can check out? Could you please PM me the link, thanks

Yes, my partner was lucky enough to find work with php working as a junior web developer.

We have nothing up online and everything has just been php so far, I'm at basically 0% with my flash learning.
If anything manages to go online, I'll definitely PM you with a link.

Warm climates are okay, but hot ones aren't. I can barely stand anything over 25c. Summers are actually pretty hot in Sweden.

welcome, I live in canada too ... its funny I usually wonder when Neopets will shut down too, I do with any site I spend time on but the thing is as long as they can keep kids interested and there is money to be made that it will be around. Its one of those sites you just sometimes get addicted to.
