On March 20th, for Gadgadsbogen TNT introduced some new fruits. They also usually retire some fruits when they introduce new ones, but this year they forgot to retire some of the older fruits. However, recently they finally got around to retiring them. This year 7 new fruits were introduced and 7 of the older fruits were retired. I will list them here with some important information regarding the fruits so you can determine whether you want to invest in them or not. They usually aren't that great of an investment, but if you have extra neopoints lying around might as well throw a couple thousand neopoints into these fruits and see what happens. Hope this helps!

The format will be as follows:

Item name (old rarity before retirement) - Price before retirement -> Price as of original post -> Current price

Stramberry (r89) - 4500 NP -> 10000 NP -> 75000 NP
Tangleberry (r87) - 3300 NP -> 10000 NP -> 50000 NP
Vinberry (r85) - 2000 NP -> Unchanged -> 2600 NP
Grunion (r79) - 2300 NP -> 8000 NP -> 10000 NP
Puchini (r75) - 1400 NP -> Unchanged -> 1500 NP
Grondik Root (r69) - 100 NP -> Unchanged -> 200 NP
Slugroot (r47) - 1300 NP -> 1500 NP -> 1600 NP

    I have 1 of every tropical fruit in my safety deposit box since I know there is a chance they will retire on Gadgadsbogen. So I kept checking back on them to see which ones retired. After I found out which ones retired I used the Neocodex + Jellyneo databases/price histories to figure out the rest of the info :)

    I'm buying Puchini for 1800 - 2000 right now...
    Then again I don't have SSW

    I can't believe they retired the stramberry, is one of the most known! They should retire the meals containing stramberry aswell, there's no point on keeping them.

    4.5k each to 99k each in a matter of 3 days. Someone out there made a lot of NP if they bought 300k or so of them at around 6k. :whistling:

    Yes, now it's a question of whether other people would want to buy the retired fruits that really have no purpose

    People like to have galleries of retired items.
    I bought 3 grunions for 20k, 20k, 25k.
    Keeping one in my SDB, and have the rest set @ 95k. I'm worried about what will happen after they become UB.. whether people are gonna start mass selling them or not.

    Gunions are up to 75k
    Puchini are 3k
    Slugroots are 2k

    The bubble is going to burst, fast. No one is going to sit on impossible to sell unbuyables. Sell yours at 99k while you can. They will go back down in price again.

    Honestly, why would you guys even bother with retired fruits. I guess if you're a patient enough reseller then go for it, but being very HTS shit, I wouldn't bother.
