Just to add here, if you are IP Banned, you can use a proxy, login, and then turn off the proxy and you'll be fine. I used to have to do this at school (lol).

So a couple of friends and I are going to be making a virtual pet site, and were wondering a few things about how to see/prove if there are people cheating.. We were thinking about only keeping IP logs from when people log in or out, and from user trades so we don't have to waste loads of database space just for logs, heh. But what do you guys do? I thought it might be best to ask the masters of all things awesome and how they do it Please leave out my username!
(insert some sort of "ooh I've been on Neo for # of years I luv u guys!! xd ♥" or something! They really like things like that!)
