I know its a place that everyone restocks at legit or not.
If you don't have buy times in the 800ms areas what makes you get caught for autobuying there if you scoop up 1 or 2 mp's a day?
Lately my Abrosia has not been picking up anything from the attic or the book shop, even fixed my settings to usually get within 1400ms to 1600ms. which seems legit to me on a connection speed of 60mbps.

So I'm really thinking about stepping my game up a bit and trying magic for maybe an hour ? If that even just to see one or two restocks and see if i get anything, however I think abing on a side or shell makes things worse due to the fact its hard to transfer large sums over to your main with out being looked at probably worse than if you have a nice looking main and are autobuying magic in the first place.

I'm just curious as to see what everyone thinks about magic and how its suicde or how you can make it save to make a quick profit. my profit for my first couple of weeks of just book/attic was close to 3m now this past week its about 30k :/

Any advice for autobuying in there would be nice if you do it (:

If not i suppose, discuss it?

It's where expensive / high demand profit items restock, same as any of the other high risk shops, which is what makes them so. It's really all shoot and miss as far as freezing goes, from what I've read around here.

Thats the main reason why i was trying to start this thread, I havn't seen much data for abing in magic. Maybe everyone can bring their input or experience with autobuying so we can figure out what works and what doesnt in magic.

The reason why I personally (not really sure about everyone else because I'm a selfish bastard) that I don't post my successful Magic AB times and data is because I got a shipload of pretty shells deported to Iceland before finding a time where freezing is nearly minimal and the profits still reign high (~6-15 morphing potions per week with 3 hours for 4 days with a week not being frozen on that one account yet.) I suggest getting at least one account frozen before I even consider giving you a hint. Some people on the other hand may be nicer than I am.

To post the obvious... blah blah competition,,.. blah blah... do your homework... blah blah.... I want mah moneyz lol.

True, I will use some of my shells to see how it works, but When im done and not frozen i will help with tracking statistics in magic.

I only restock magic. I usually get 2-3 MPs a day with a record of 6 in one day. I AB there for about 8 hours a days, in 2-3 hour blocks. Early in the morning, late at night and then every other few nights from about midnight-1am NST. My setting are "borderline" as well. 3-7 second refresh and 0.3-0.5 buy times and I do pretty good.

I've been doing this for almost a month now and I feel totally safe. I am very active in my guild, play games have lots of neofriends and don't restock EVERYDAY.. usually 5 days out of the week. I try and make it look really legit and have thus far succeeded.

It's probably because the most profitable items go there and the Neopet staff expects

This sounds like a good idea. Thanks for the advice, I am probably going to join a guild and make some Neofriends to sound legit.

I think magic is risky because thats where the Neopet staff expects people to be botting at
