Is using an ad blocker to block out images of items I don't want to buy an freezable offense?

Yes, but TNT has no detection for it, so they'd be hard pressed to freeze you

I'm not very knowledgable on main and side accounts. But would it be safer to do it on a side account and transfer items over?

does that count as making money on a side account? cause that's definitely a freezable offense unless you're talking about going through proxies and stuff

nope, but TNT can't see what you do client side, so having something like ad block plus blocking images won't really raise any flags

If you're semi-legit RSing do it on your main.
If you're ABing, do it on a proxy on a side, do not transfer items over.

It was in one of the recent editorials, something about having an unfair advantage.

because there's no way for them to tell what you do client side. using an adblocker doesn't alter the way you actually interact with the site. it just stops some images from loading. hence, there's no way for them to tell you're doing it

Ah, no, this is just for adblocking items that are unprofitable.
You're perfectly ok using adblock to remove actual advertisements floating around Neopets.

I can attest to having done this for 2+ years and never being frozen once.

Sorry for noob question, but how do you block nonprofitable items using ad blocker??
Do you mean that by blocking the image, Abrosia will not buy the item?

There's an option to right click any image and block it if you've got adblock installed. There's an in-depth guide for semi-legit RSing using adblock here.

It doesn't matter which item images you have blocked, Abrosia will still function as normal. The use of adblock is for when you are actually RSing yourself, using FF / Chrome / whichever browser :)
