Besides those that received this avatar during the glitch upon release, has anyone got a legit Rubbish Dump Avatar?

If so...


How many items did you dump?
Did you get it as you got rid of items along the way?
Did you get it by discarding one specific item only?
If not, are you trying to get this avatar?
How times did you attempt before you received the avie?
Is it totally random?

Let's figure this out!

I dumped ~2000-3000 items. I have no idea how mant items I discarded before the avatar was introduced, but it was a good many.
I got it while dumping items over a period of days in order to get the avatar.
I discarded different items, as I was going into shops and buying whatever they had for 1NP.
I only tried once, but this was spread out over days.

It's random, but I think there's a minimum amount you have to dump. I know people have been getting the avvie in the range from 2k - 5k. It varies, but I believe the best results comes from discarding 70 items at a time.

How times did you attempt before you received the avie? you mean how many times I discarded or how many times did I go on discarding binges? I discarded about 100 times and did it in one long 3 hour stretch
Is it totally random? no you get it somewhere between 2k and 7k items discarded as far as I know.. but there are always exceptions to the rule since some people claim to get it extremely early but I can really only speak from my own experience

Edit: I discarded 40-50 items at a time and this avatar is bullshit

I already asked lots of people (~100) at the neoboard to make my own chart

• About 70% dumped around 5.000 items, 20% less than 3.500, 10% more the 7.000 items
• It doesn't mattter which items you dump. Some did those left over muffins, the fishing junk, others random items. It also don't need to be R101
• You don't need to dump only 1 specific items, it can be a mix of random items
• People who dumped the items in lower steps (1 by 1 or 10~50 at a time) needed more attempts than people who dumped 70 items at a time. --> it's not totally random
• It has nothing to do with the number of items in your SDB
• You can do those ~5.000 items in one day, you can also spread it over a month -- it doesn't matter.

I got it on my 3rd try discarding.

1st time: ~1700 items
2nd time: ~2600 items
3rd time: ~3-4 discards? so 200-280 more?

I had 2300 items in my inventory on my 3rd try and got it only after discarding a few of them *facepalm*

Total; ~4500 items. 4-5k is pretty standard

I've heard that it's best to do it between 12 and 1 pm NST. That's what I've been doing. And you do have to discard 5000+ items most likely.

Did anyone tried discarding Box of Leftover Muffins? I got the avvie after discarding some of it. Hope it helps.

I remember stumbling upon a petpage that has narrowed it down to a science. They recommend discarding between 12-1 AM or PM NST. After discarding about 1000 items and you don't get it, try it on the opposite time you were working with. If you were trying AM, try discarding PM. Upon surveying a lot of people who used this method, there was a 92% success rate. I'll see if I can find that page again.
