so i go to the gym real late and im always the only one there. all the tv's are always on. i ask the people at the front desk to please turn it off and they say "i dont know how". which im sure is bull because i know they change channels.

so i want to find something to turn off any tv. i found the below:
https://www.tvbgone....83gnlhr2jbr8el6

can someone help me verify if this is real and not a scam?

if it is a scam is there any other things you know about? an app for android or iphone? anything? im desperate i hate the tv's

I'd assume it is some kind of universal remote.

I have something like that but for my air conditioning units. I simply just point the remote at my A/C unit and it switches on. I can then change the temperature and stuff using the same remote. Works on all the A/Cs in my house.

As for this remote, however, seems fishy. The site isn't that well made either. However, Google Chrome says it is verified.

"The identity of this site has been verified by RapidSSL CA."

Just take a chance and purchase one..?

I'd guess it would be safer if you purchased it through Amazon.

Is there no way that you can press the power button on the TV itself? :p

When I was a kid I used to have a watch which was also a universal remote control, like this:

Fun times were had with that at the expense of several teachers.

Thankfully we invented something called Money, which we can exchange in return for items.

Unfortunately, we don't have something called a "time machine", which would bring me to a time when I would have more appreciated having this.

In his world, maybe. It's the same world where gravity doesn't work the way it normally does, so anything's possible.

Gravity doesn't work any more? Shit. I guess moonbounces will never be the same.
