Are we allowed to rent private proxies for NP?

Would we be allowed to rent private proxies for Neopoints? I'm talking about a proxy which would be up about 6-10 hours a day and would only be usable from one IP address. The proxies would not be shared, and I'd be able to rent maybe 2-3 a month.

If this is allowed, how many Neopoints would you pay for your own private proxy? I am thinking about setting up the proxies for X NP a week. I would be hosting the proxies, from two of my VPS. One is from America and the other is from Britain, I could add in a proxy authentication quite easily.

try asking to rent one in the trading section. as far as I can see, it isn't against the rules. whether or not you find someone willing to rent you a proxy for NP is another question though

Oh, no. I'm going to be renting a proxy and I'm wondering how much NP I can make. I can rent 2 proxies at this moment to 2 different people, and I'm not sure how many NP to charge per week.

ah. make a thread in the selling section then lol. I don't know how good of an idea it would be though. the people renting the proxy wouldn't know who has done what on that same IP, which could possibly lead to chain freezings of random, unrelated accounts. I wouldn't recommend sharing a proxy to anyone

The proxies are private, I am not using them. I am debating which would net me more profit, if I rent the proxy to one person each (one person per proxy) or use the proxies to scoresend.

There would be no chain freezing, because each proxy would only be given to one person. I have 2 proxies at this moment which are HTTP and are authenticated by IP. They are NOT public. They are private. Also, I would not be using the proxies that I would rent. Only one person would have them.

One problem would be that if you're renting them to each person for a week all of those accounts will end up linked on the same IP. Each user would be better off going away and renting their own private proxy over a longer term.

Yeah, that would be true if I rented them to a different person every week. I would try to find someone who would be able to use it long-term. I guess it's not such a good idea, because it would get suspicious to be receiving so many NP's on my main account from the same people, especially if they get iced.

I meant exactly what waser said. even if the proxies are private and you rent them out to more than one person, whether it be at very different times, the accounts still get linked because they share an IP.

you could probably work out a deal with someone to rent them a proxy for a month or two at a time in exchange for NP, but it would probably work easier if you rented a new proxy for each person. you wouldn't look too suspicious with a large gap in time between each rental, and you can shell jump or something if you're overly worried.

Honestly, I feel like you'd make more profit by getting an AAA shell for each proxy and ABing on them. I imagine your VPS would be fairly fast.
