I have my delay times all set to 0.001-0.001 and still get buy times above 2000ms. On the odd occasion I do get buy times of ~1800ms. I also barely ever get any items from the AAA.

Also, I'm not using a proxy and I'm located in Australia.

Is there anyway to improve my buy times?

Move closer to California & upgrade your internet speed are 2 of the things I can think of.

You could get a VPS in the States.

Would this actually work?

That's one of the problems living in Australia, you'll really struggle to get much lower than those speeds purely because of your sheer distance from the server. A VPS located in the US would probably be your best option unless you fancy moving there yourself physically. :p

Yes it would absolutely work. You would be basically controlling a computer that is located in America from your house.

ETA: or work, or anywhere. I can log into my VPS on my cellphone.

My VPN is in the states and sometimes I still get shitty timings. I'd recommend trying a few out before settling on one.

From what I can tell, and I am sure I will be corrected if I am wrong, but a VPN for our purposes is more about anonymity and less about speed. Sida's post here explains this very well. If you are using a VPN to try to get faster buy times, then it looks like you are using it for the wrong reason.

Thanks guys, I may just check out a VPS, but I don't know if it's worth paying it. Can anyone recommend a cheap but decent VPS provider?

And how do you set it up in the programs? Do you just set it up like a proxy?

Edit: Also, what minimal specs should I be looking for?

I found this one, will it suffice?

256 MB’s RAM
