You can use a VPS as a proxy server if you set it up like that, Alternatively just run the program on the VPS (Much better), I'm not sure of the linux compatibility of Neocodex's programs, but I'm sure you could get it to work, as they run on Mac easily enough.
It's probably easier to find a VPS running windows if they're new to it.

If it definitely is a VPS, the best would to log in and run the programs using wine (if it is a linux VPS, which most are), or simply run them if you are lucky enough to find a windows one. Some times users have issues running the program manager on a linux VPS but with some teaking and fiddling most get it to work.

Yeah like they said, a VPS is not something you enter into the program. You probably need to do a little learning on what a VPS is. It's not too hard to find a Windows one, mine is Windows and the programs work beautifully on it.
Your significant other deals in VPS's, of course it wasn't difficult to find one. When searching around, the best deals are usually for linux based VPS's.

Windows VPS cost more because of licensing. You have to have a windows license for a windows vps. Hence why they are more expensive. They are easier to use though, linux vps's have a nice learning curve.
