"Spiders can't really do much damage to you..... well except red backs... they'll kill you"
Best part!

Totally not what I expected you to sound like, your accent isn't very thick like other peoples here.
And you talk a lot like I do, your choice of wording~

hehe thought you'd like that. Also, I come from an Irish/English background so that may contribute to my choice of wording :p

I've got a fairly typical southern English accent, although I've had years of the English Codexians mocking me for supposedly being posh. *rolls eyes*

What American accent do you have?
Your Result: The Midland
"You have a Midland accent" is just another way of saying "you don't have an accent." You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio.
Result Breakdown:
83% The Midland
69% The Inland North
65% North Central
54% The West
44% Philadelphia
42% Boston
42% The South
36% The Northeast
Quiz Created on GoTo Quiz

That's funny, because I've lived in Minnesota and Eastern Wisconsin, which would put me in "The Inland North" and "North Central". Overall, not bad. The people in Milwaukee and from Illinois can pick up that I am from Minnesota. Haha.

I wouldn't say I have an accent, but when I go home for the summer, people always comment about how I sound like I'm from the south (is Oklahoma considered south?).

When I get angry I can hear a southern drawl come out though.

Awwh, all of you have such nice accents! I'm from Singapore, and from what I hear, the accent is pretty grating on the ears of American/Brits cause we stress all the syllables in a word.

love the ending ;)

and the reason my voice may have sounded different, is that I had a cold the day I did the recording. Hence the 'nasal' sound in my voice *ugh*

I'm from the south, but (compared to my friends and redneck neighbors) I never thought I had any sort of southern accent. Well, years back I took a trip to St. Louis. Was at a snack bar or something, asked for a bottle of water. The two guys running the registers just looked at me and grinned, "You sound like a regular Southern Belle!" ...So I guess I do. :(

I guess I have a vague southern accent. I say y'all and stuff.

Pretty much any European accent gets me going. :D

@strategist,

Thanks to that recording add Australia to my list of hot accents.

Floridian here. I sound very neutral with the exception of "th" words like "the" and "thorough" (I grew up in Brazil). No matter how hard I concentrate, I can't make certain words sound "American."

btw, I'm from India, though I don't sound Indian.

I probably have an accent, i'm Australian.

What kind of sub-accent though in that? No idea personally. I've never thought about my accent.
