How long does it usually take to sell items bought from food stores?

Here's my story:

New to mainshop AB.

ABed at fresh foods, chocolate, spooky food, bakery yesterday with at least 2,000 NP profit.

Got a bunch of items.

Only a small amount have sold and it has been one day.

Can't continue to AB again because depending on profit money to start ABing again.

Impatient as hell.

Also, is it normal to miss a lot at post office with these kinds of settings:

refresh rate 7-10
pre-haggle 0.5-0.7
ocr 0.4-0.5

I'm asking because I have tried running at post office too and have only gotten one 90k stamp with these settings. Missed quite a lot of other valuable stamps in the process.

It is normal to miss items with those settings you listed.

Since you are advanced, why don't you try lowering them a little?

Also, it usually takes a day or slightly more to sell a food item.

    Thanks for the quick response.

I know this has been asked many times, but can you personally tell me a setting you recommend for post office? I'm new to all of this so I'd greatly appreciate it.

I see. That's quite slow for me so I think I am going to stick with post office.

It depends heavily on the food item. I still have some food items in my shop that I bought last year.

Would you recommend to purchase food items that are at least 10,000 NP profitable then?

No problem. (I pratically live on Codex)

Your refresh times can / should be about 2.5 - 3.5 seconds.

And lower the pre-haggle / OCR by 0.1 too if you are not getting anything.

    :o

True. But maybe the prices are outdated, that is why nobody is buying them?

I've updated the prices multiple times. I think they're just rarely used items with little collector value, so not many people buy them.

Alright, thank you. I will try out those settings. Do you personally use these settings? Have you gotten ice from these settings?

Wow. I'm afraid I have bought these kind of items too. I don't want my neopoints going to waste.

Ah, I probably should clarify that they're a rarity. Most items are gone within a week.

Gave me a scare there. Thanks for clarifying. I'll probably go back to foods restock once I get enough money to be able to AB without relying on the profit sold from the food items anymore.

Haven't gotten iced on these settings (yet)

And yes, I use them on my main.

Awesome, thank you. I also am using this on my main. I am far too lazy to go through proxies (even though I have a VPN) and create other accounts to auto buy. I'll keep you posted of my progress. Thanks again.

    No problem :)

Make some NP off ABing first then perhaps use that NP to invest in a shell which you can AB on with riskier settings?

Great plan. Might I ask you how much do shell accounts that are at least 4 months old go for?

Hey, if youre starting to cheat with autobuyer and you need money to go on cheating, I advice you to cheat on Pharmacy, low profit but easy to sell. I started out at Pharmacy with 5,000 neopoints in hand, two days past I had like 200,000 and started at Stamps!

I was considering that but after going through the restock list generator and setting the minimum profit of pharmacy to 1,000NP, only 10 items showed up. Wouldn't it be very hard to profit from that? I never tried Pharmacy myself.

Anywhere between 100k - 400k? I'm not too sure about current prices. :S

Well, like I said before, it's a low profit, but... it's a easy way to start! It's a getting off to a good start.

You can get a lot of them during each restock, so they add up. Also, if you can snag the cure to whatever the current main disease is, they sell fast.

Hm...is it very easy to sell? I'm just worried about it taking awhile to sell.

Wow thanks for the tip. How many items do you think I can normally get during each restock? Do they restock fast?

It's been a while since I restocked in the Pharmacy, but I remember getting around 3-4 items each restock. Don't remember the frequency though.
