Time Auto bought: Around 12:00PM

Duration: 4 Hours

Shop: Clothes

Profit Margin: 2,500NP

Bought/Missed Items: 13/2

Account Age: 1 Week

Refresh Rate: 4-6 sec

Am I doing something wrong? I was expecting to rack up more than 13 items in 4 hours.

The only thing you are doing wrong is not using the search feature.

Thank you for your reply, Captain Obvious.

If you are going to make a commentary post like that, at least provide an answer along with what you suggest. Otherwise, it just seems like a spam post. What key terms should I search under? I did try finding a topic that has an answer to my problems but I could not find one like it.

"Abrosia" is what you should be searching for, it'll come up with guides and such. Also see this and this

13/2 is a good ratio. I wouldn't complain too much.

I completely agree. Considering that your account is just one week old and you're ABing in Uni's, those settings are working well for you.

Thank you. The first thread with the picture does seem to help. It doesn't fully explain if the amount of items I am purchasing in 4 hours is normal though.

It's not the ratio I'm worried about, it's the amount of items I'm accumulating in 4 hours. =(

Thank you. That is what I needed to know. How are people profiting 500k NP a day then? The ones who are in food/clothes shop etc.

Older accounts with more frequent refreshes is likely the reason.

They have older accounts, 3 month accounts and you can see everything (r99's) which means they can snap up UB's and expensive items more often. Younger accounts can't see the UB's.

I don't recommend restocking at uni's. That stuff is extremely, extremely HTS.

Try the food shop or books. Especially at your account age.

I see. I did try lowering it by a second from what I have now before but that got me RSed ban quick.

I didn't think the appearance of the those would pop up that often.

I'll consider this. I auto bought around 8 items from uni yesterday and they all seem to have sold fine, faster than food =)

Guess I wasn't to clear on that, even without the UB's there are still good/high profit items you won't be able to see.
Here's the list of account ages and up to what rarity they can see when restocking.

    Newbie≤ r79
    10 days≤ r84
    16 days≤ r89
    1 month≤ r94
    3 months≤ r100 (everything)

The amount of items that you are buying is going to be reflected based on two factors, lets call the X and Y.

X = the amount of items restocking in that particular shop, ex. if the shop has 24 items it's not going to restock, if it has 22 items it's only going to restock 1-2 items, and if it has 2 items its probably going to restock 10+.

Y = the amount of competition ALSO buying in that shop. This factor isn't something that you can really calculate but it has a big affect on how much you yourself can purchase.

So if you take X and you take Y and count your own purchases as Z you will find that Z is actually doing very well considering factors X and Y.

It's probably due to your account's being 1 week old. You can purchase a 4 month shell on the trading section for pretty cheap and use that if you do not wish to wait.

13 items in 4 hours is good....seeing as sometimes the shops don't even restock for 1 hour.
